Not satisfied with purchase

If you like your cookware to look clean, then these are not for you. Takes a lot of time to have them shine again bottom in and out.

Great So Far

I found out about Tramontina from a friend near the end of last year when he recommended the Tramontina non stick frying pan. I had non stick Calphalon pots that I needed to replace because the finish was coming off and I wanted to move away from non stick so8 looked into Tramontina So far, I am very happy with the tri-ply clad pots I purchased. It’s amazing how easy they clean up when foods like rice or grits stick in the bottom.

Excellent quality and value

This is my first set of stainless steel cookware and I am impressed. I always avoided it because I thought I'd not be able to cook without the nonstick feature. I was wrong. These pans are so much better to cook with. They heat up fast, cook food well, and are easy to clean. I like the weight too. 5 ply may have been too heavy. The cookware is all well constructed too.

The aluminum core is exposed! Not good!

I've never seen anything like this before in any cookware. The set isn't made in China and it's the only good thing about it. The aluminum center core is exposed at the top of every pot, like it isn't finished. It looks like someone took something sharp and cut off the tops of the pots exposing all 3 layers (steel+aluminum+steel). After this cookware was washed , the exposed core got some kind of pinkish spots! The exposed core will interact with food just because of accumulation of steam, etc.

Fine Set of cookware but better for induction

I have both induction and electric burners. The electric burners cause discoloration no matter how hard I tried to heat slowly. With Induction, I can heat them up much more quickly and have no discoloration. Cookware is nice and heavy and heats very evenly. Paired with the induction method, I have much more control of the temperature.

Beautiful Cookware, Nice Quality! This will last our family a lifetime. And I don't have to worry about any toxic non stick cookware. I'll be buying more from this brand to add to our collection. I highly Recommend

So far so fantastic!

This is the first set of trim-clad stainless steel cookware I have ever used. I've given up on non-stick pans because the coatings always flake off and I can't even tell you how much of it I've probably eaten and fed to my family. Previous sets of pans have warped so much that their lids stopped fitting. I finally threw them all out and went all in on stainless steel. You cook with these as you would cast iron. Let it preheat long and low till it's really heated, add a bit of oil and wait for that to heat as well, now you're good to go. So far everything has come out terrific and cleaned up easily. I had no idea they would work out this well. I'm hooked! Two months in with daily cooking and they look brand new. I hope this keeps up! I'll never go back to eating nonstick.

Induction pots and pans

This set of pots and pans work great I bought them for my son for Christmas that had an induction stove. He says they really work good.

Very nice cookware!

Is reasonably priced for the great quality you get! I love how bottom heavy it is, it’s very sturdy and well made.

I researched for quite some time before making this purchase. Some other known name brands had declining reviews. Tramontina had consistently positive reviews. And, the perfect number of pieces. I was eager to try the product. Get them! You will not be disappointed. Study, great heat distribution. A product that will last!

In the kitchen

Not too heavy; handles may be hot depending upon the heat. I recommend seasoning the frying pan as food sticks. Allow pan to get hot before adding cooking item and oil after use; otherwise, I would have given it a 5-star rating.

Good pans, but the bottoms aren't flat

I bought this set a few days ago and the pans are great! But, one of them (the 10 inch) wobbles. The bottom is not flat. I would also say that for a new cook like myself, most of these pots/pans are things I don't ever see myself using. The 8 inch pan for example will probably never get used as it's just too small. As far as the wobbly pan goes I assume this is just a defective unit because all the rest are perfectly flat. But contacting customer service to get a refund has been a bit of a hassle.

Very durable

We have this set or a set very close to it that’s 25 years old and still perfect in every way. You will never regret buying these.

Elegant and simple. These pots and pans are flawless and gorgeous. They have a pretty sincere warning in the ‘care’ instructions to only cook on low to medium heat. So if your planning on getting all fire bug on these, maybe look elsewhere. But for the right, patient, cook These are stunning and perfect.
