Hope my second Grinder lasts longer than first one

This is my second grinder with integrated scale, my first one gave up early, didn’t get that many years out of it. Hope this one has a longer life. This one grinds much faster than the old one did.

Grind setting and on switch on the same dial.

Great grinder. I wish there was a separate switch for turning it on, instead of the same switch where you set the time of grind. It is too easy to move the grind setting by mistake, when pushing in the switch. I have to watch closely for this. It would be better to have a separate switch to turn on the grinder. That is my only complaint.

Great grinder - can't beat this value.

Love this grinder. I use it for fine-medium grind for syphon brewer , and it works great. Numbering system provides consistent grind. I use a separate grinder for espresso but for everything else, you can't beat the value for this grinder!

Love this grinder. It's not too loud and I love the locking stainless container. Easy to scoop the coffee out through the opening in the lid. Also, settings galore for any type of grind and easy to set. Highly recommend!!

Eaxactly What We Were Looking for in a Burr Grinder

The OXO Burr grinder is the exact device we were looking for to make that perfect delicious cup of coffee. After experimenting with the settings, we just push the button each morning and it grinds our coffee beans to perfection and in the exact amount for our drip coffee maker. I have purchased countless grinders that say they can grind to an espresso grind. This is the first one that has actually produced an espresso grind! The metal grind cup keeps static down so coffee doesn't spray every where when you remove the cup. It disassembles easily for through cleaning. It is also one of the quietest grinders I've used.

My first one was terrible from the onset, and after two months, I gave up and returned it to OXO (also a bad experience). Replacement one worked ok for a week and now has the same issue as the first one, that the unit isn’t pulling beans from the hopper, so nothing gets ground. Just bought a new one that is a different brand. Good riddance to this garbage!

I've been using this coffee grinder for over two years, and it's been great. The grind is consistent, and the settings are easy to adjust for whatever size grounds you need. It's not the quietest, but unless you have paper thin walls and neighbors with their beds touching a shared wall with your kitchen, I think you'll be fine. My only complaint is that the painted line showing how many seconds of grinding you're set to wore off quickly, so you need to either paint a marker back on the machine, or just guess what you have it set to.

This burr mill has changed my life, no joke. It has simplified my morning routine and made my drive to work ao much more pleasurable. It's so easy to switch from a coffee maker grind, to a pour over gind, to an espresso grind, to a cold brew grind, and i can set it for as much or as little as i need. I LOVE this machine.

Better coffee grinder than other "top notch" ones

This coffee grinder has exceeded my expectations thus far after a month of ownership. A very quiet unit that doesn't wake up the family and grinds to a perfection for my auto-drip coffee maker. Coffee flavour using ground beans with this brewer is awesome with no bitterness detected and ground size great.

We have enjoyed this coffee grinder for a couple of months now. It took a bit to find the right setting for the time it takes to get the perfect amount of grounds, but we have it now. We can confidently just press the button and we get the right amount of coffee. The different settings for the size of the grinds is impressive.

Solid product

Really good so far, very consistent grind, a lot less static than my last burr. No complaints really. I haven't had to take it apart for cleaning yet. My one minor gripe was that the quantity dial is in grind time rather than cups, but it was an easy enough adjustment.

Great grinder

Purchased this for myself months after buying one for my daughter. Does a great job if grinding for a single serve or a full pot. It is relatively quiet and works quickly, Does not make a mess around the grinder. Have not used it for anything other than coffee.

After 4 years, my burr grinder was not grinding efficiently despite regular cleaning & maintenance. I called customer service & they suggested I replace the burr as they get dull over time. They offered to send me a complementary replacement. It worked and now my grinder works like new. I’m pleased with OXO’s response & customer service & the quality of this product.

Worth the money for a good grinder

Easy to use. This was recommended to us by a friend and it was well worth purchasing. I hated my husband's old coffee grinder which would result in coffee grinds all over the counter. With the OXO coffee grinder, there's no mess. He says his coffee tastes great, so its a win for everyone!

Ordered this grinder after searching different brands and online retailers, and we are very happy with our purchase. It works really well with an unexpected bonus. It's much quieter than expected! Will be keeping Crate and Barrel in mind for future online purchases as well.

The Perfect Grinder for the Perfect Cup of Coffee

As a lifelong coffee connoisseur and environmentalist opposed to the waste (and cost) of coffee pods, I have devoted much time to my quest to make the perfect cup of 'Java' at home. Unfortunately, I could not afford the expensive Italian coffee machines which tend to deliver consistently. A French press has ended up being my preferred method for making 2 cups of coffee for myself. I tried all kinds of beans in my favorite roasts ranging from blonde to medium but never managed to elude the bitter aftertaste until I replaced my cheap blade coffee grinder with the reasonably priced Oxo Brew Conical Burr Coffee Grinder. With a setting of 15, I get evenly coarsely ground grinds that yield a smooth cuppa with no bitter aftertaste. As common for blade grinders, mine produced a very uneven grind with some finely ground bits that resulted in bitterness. It was certainly worth the wait to have the grinder delivered once Crate and Barrel restocked as their price is the best one I found online. Because of cost, I settled for the Matt Back version. It is sleek enough to fit in with my stainless steel countertop appliances. Finally, a delicious cup of coffee made by myself at home!!! P.S. The care taken by Crate and Barrel to prepare my grinder for shipment is beyond, beyond! Excuse me now as I'm off to make myself a fabulous cup of coffee.

After purchasing a different brand from a different store that made a complete MESS each time we decided to try this one. The stainless steel grounds container takes care of the static problem other grinders have because they use plastic, this ultimately eliminated the mess. Quite. Sleek design. Same price as the other brand we originally purchased and this one is definitely better. Totally recommend

[Rewarded Review] Not worth it - very hard to clean & use

Put a batch of dark Italian roast into the hopper, run it for a bit, it'll certainly get clogged in the outlet and require a very messy cleanup - dump all the beans, suffer from the clogged grind spilling out all over the place after you try to clear it. Ugh.
