Beautiful Door once wood wasn't warped.

Once installed this door is absolutely gorgeous. A few of the boards that were first sent to us were warped and by the time we installed it I had to work with the company directly to get replacement boards. But once fixed, it looks amazing in our bedroom!

These doors are beautiful! The slats are tongue and groove and then the decorative boards can be placed however, with the exception of the top. Very easy assembly of the doors. My son, who is 14, and I were able to complete that easily ourselves. The hardware for the track was placed and put together by my brother. Definitely suggest using a 2x4 as the wall anker instead of just the bolts sent. These doors are heavy! Honestly, I feel like the 2x4 made it easier. Definitely recommend!

I had my contractor assemble and hang these double doors. The slats, being real wood, are not uniformly straight and flat. They needed a lot of adjustment in order to close flush, and there is still a small gap and overlap when the doors are closed completely. Since this is a rustic look anyways, I can live with that. The doors themselves are beautiful.

Looks good, but is difficult to assemble and align properly. We needed to purchase a single bar to hang and slide the doors along, so that they closed properly. Also, we only received one set of door handles, so we decided to purchase a couple of pocket door sunken grips to put on the side closest to the wall.

A follow up on my earlier review. The company sent us replacement parts quickly, and we finally put it together. It actually looks very good. some of the boards are warped. But since it is a barn door, the imperfections not really impact the final look. The instructions could be better. Based on the final look, I revise my review to 4 stars. We will purchase again if another project comes up. This could be a beautiful door if we can assemble it together. Poor instructions, parts milled incorrectly, wrong parts, some wood boards are bowed. Not for a typical consumer.

Terrible product

This purchase was a huge disappointment. All this door is is a few very poorly stained and cut shiplap planks. The material is very thin and poor quality. We took them back immediately. I may as well have just given them $700 in return for nothing. Definitely not worth the price. If there was an option for zero stars I would pick that. Spare yourself the trouble and waste of time.
