Solved half of my problem

I bought to remove a 24 year old Central Brass laundry tub faucet. It was mounted on a plastic tub.

Universal?

Only worked on the water supply line’s nuts. Nothing else lined up. Not very universal.

Good for Tight spaces.

I don't know if I will replace my other faucet tool with this one, but because of the size, this does well as a backup for tighter spaces.

Not as big as advertised

The description states 1 1/2", yet the largest nut it can work for is 1 1/8". Completely false advertising.

does not fit new retaining nuts

worked very well removing old plastic retainer nuts, does not fit the new ones. I had to modify to fit the ones that came with the new faucet

Goes where no basin wrench has gone before.

Bought this because I have a very tiny sink (less than a foot square) and wanted to change out the fixture. Knew there would be no room to work under the sink. I could only turn it 3/4 of a turn at a time. But there's no way any stinkin' basin wrench would have gotten in there at all.

Sooo easy and quick compared to other products

I didn’t but this from CT but thought of giving my opinion about this till here because many of us but products from CT. I tried a basin wrench with the curved tip designed for tightening the nut that holds the kitchen faucet in place but it failed miserably due to its bulky head. Tried pliers and regular wrenches but they too didn’t have enough room to grab the nut and tighten it. I wrestled with these tools for an hour but to no avail. With the basin buddy it literally took me under a minute and the nut was as tight as could be. It’s worth the $20 I paid; if you’re a plumber or handy man who does this sort of thing often you won’t regret buying this tool. I’ll try to include a photo of the attachments I used in order to rotate the basin buddy.

I love this tool. Worth every penny. My flexibility is way down. My vision is worse, the lighting under the sink is poor. Very easy to use. I love it.

Miles better than a basin wrench.

It worked well to remove the old plastic retaining nut (which was too stuck to remove by hand) and supply line, and to reinstall the new supply line. The 1/4"to 3/8" ratchet adapter it came with fell out very easily, however, and was frustrating. All in all a useful tool I'll keep in my plumbing box.
