The 20 watt dimmer driver is a great addition to any 12-volt DC light. It can make the light become a night light or a light to guide you through a dark area. It was easy to install and works great. It can be used in a variety of uses and it's up to your imagination. It comes with instructions if you need them. It is a quality made unit and I recommend it.

Replacing lower wattage LED Driver, Armacost Universal Dimming LED Driver with power supply provides more Watts for existing Armacost LED tape light running along bottom side of bed in guest room.

Armacost Lighting's 60 Watt Universal Dimming LED Driver uses an integrated microprocessor to automatically sense and optimize dimming performance based on the load used. This electronic, solid-state power supply is also compatible with Armacost low-voltage 12-volt DC dimmers and RGB LED lighting controllers on the output side. It is suitable for dry and damp locations. A standard 120- volt AC dimmer can be directly wired to this LED Driver or to multiple LED Drivers on the input side. A 12-volt dimmer or RGB controller can be connected to the DC output side of the LED Driver to power different types of LED lighting equipment i.e. mini lights, tape lighting and puck lights. This Driver comes equipped with a electrical cord and plug on the input side. To obtain access to the input and output terminal block connectors there are end caps that are screwed down and need to be removed to get access to the screw terminals. The terminal connectors will accept 18 as well as 14 gauge wire. This lighting driver also comes in a 24-volt size.

First, let me admit that I've yet to install this device and, depending on the LEDs I eventually choose for my deck renovation [delayed due to Covid-19], I may or may not require an LED driver ... but I suspect I will and I'll need more than one.

These people do a terrible job at articulating what driver you need to power the LEDs. So I ordered the wrong drivers three times. Ultimately, I needed the biggest one and it works great but I feel like this is an easy marketing fix.

In it's defense this driver worked fine. It dimmed my under cabinet lighting. What I didn't like was instead of having a male end for an outlet, you had to hardwire directly to the driver. Which I didn't like mainly because the 14-2 Romex I used barely fit where the terminals we're located.

I used it w your ribbon lighting. Seems to work great. Price seemed right for it all. Used solder to attach leads to ribbon. Use a small solder gun and thin solder. I’ve had problems w some brands and their “easy” connections not working. Wipe cabinet down w laquer thinner where you stick ribbon

I purschased LED Tape lighting for under cabinets total wattage for the tape lighting was 36 watts, wired them in an array. I connected a Lutron 150w 120v AC dimmer switch to this 45w power supply and when I turned it on some of the LEDs were blinking, which means it is overloaded. Disconnected one string of 17 watts and they worked fine. It will run 19 watts with no problem. IMO their power supplies are over rated. Figure your wattage and double it.

Works as described and found this product operated excellent with leading edge dimmers and trailing edge. By far the best value for the $$. I used this also with the lutron zwave dimmers with same positive results. Also found the tape on the led strip to be very tacky which stuck well underneath my cabinets.
