If attached correctly it works great. I read several reviews that said it was terrible. I ordered it anyway. Glad I did. I am height challenged (short). We read all the directions and installed it correctly. Works wonderfully. I can now adjust the showerhead exactly where I want it. Bought a second one for the guest bathroom.

A good product with a useful range of installation

We use these for rain water shower heads. I am a little taller than some, and I really want to stand up-right while showering. As the photo shows, I have crowded the shower head as far up to the ceiling as I can in my particular location. From measuring, I know that the distance between the shower floor and the bottom of the shower head is about 78 1/2". For my almost-6'2" height, that is plenty of room. I'd estimate that someone up to about 6'5" tall should be able to use a shower head in a similar location, and fit comfortably under the shower head. Lots of room for a very comfortable shower!

Great Value, works like a charm

Delivery process was smooth and quick. This product works well and as advertised. Also looks good in the shower, does not seem cheap. Will use for other showers if I need it.

The Delta adjustable shower arm is of excellent quality. I have had no problems adjusting the arm for my hight or with it locking in place. Once I have adjusted the arm and locked it in place I have no issues with it readjusting while I am positioning the shower head or in everyday general use. I would buy it again and I do recommend this product.

does not tighten

I got this part from a plumbing supply house. It does not tighten. I took it back and they opened another, new one. It did not tighten. They said "I am sorry, call Delta". I called delta and they are sending me another but will not refund my money.

Don't expect your product to arrive when promised

The product was fine. The promised delivery was completely botched. I ordered this while visiting my mother (I live more than 200 miles from her). I ordered it around 11 or noon on Friday, July the 5th. I was given a delivery date of Saturday, the 6th, which would have been perfect and allowed me the time to install it before I left her home on the 7th. Even on the afternoon of the 6th, your system was still showing a delivery date of the 6th. When I finally put the Fedex Tracking number into the system, it showed that the ticket for pickup from your Tennessee warehouse WASN'T EVEN SUBMITTED until 3:32 pm on that day (the 6th). Obviously, there was ZERO chance of an ontime delivery from that. Only AFTER I checked using the FedEx tracking was your system updated to show a Monday, 8 July delivery date. The ACTUAL delivery didn't occur until Tuesday the 9th. By that time, I had already been back at my house for two days. Whoever your order entry person who was responsible for pulling and shipping that order FAILED MISERABLY.

It is really the perfect solution for my shower head and it is easy to install.

Simple to install, no tools required. In my application, it moved my shower head up about 6 inches so I don't have to duck into the stream.

Have not installed yet but seems to be solid. Like the brass threads and the tool free adjustments.

Wing nuts would not tighten enough to keep arm from swinging. Don’t buy this item.

Doesn’t hold its own weight let alone the weight of a shower head even when tightened with a wrench.

This adjustable shower arm did not hold any position even though the wing nut was fully tighten. I therefore return it.

Adjustment knobs to keep it in place do not tighten up at all. Poorly designed.
