It fits the drain hole fine and holds water in the tub. I'm not sure why it has a pressing feature as no real lock in place occurred but it does do the job.

Stops drain just fine, doesn't drain very well

The triplever drain in my tub gets stuck and requires unscrewing the overflow plate to unstick it and let the tub drain. So I opted for this simple drain stopper to use instead. It covers the drain really well and holds water in the tub. But the drain function is terrible. Water barely trickles through the mesh under the cover if any hair gets in it. And once the hair or any debris is in there, you can't easily get it out. It's more of an inconvenience than anything.

True 5 star cheap drain cover

Awesome little drain. Ive bought many different drains for my (seemingly standard size, smaller hole, older tub) bath but they've either been to big or too small. This one fits, holds the water, has a fun pop-up top design AND it catches hair.
