What were you guys thinking?

When I bought these hinges they looked so great that I didn't think to look at the screws that came with it. I am very curious to know what would make you guys put such small and short screws in the package with these very sturdy looking hinges. These small screws are almost a deal changer for me.

Screws aren't up to par!

The only problem is the screws aren't as heavy duty as the hinge! I have to buy better screws and throw yours away. Yours are way inferior to the hinge itself!

Fixed my problem

Builder put cheap hinges so the first time we opened the gate a strong wind pushed the gate backwards and twisted the original hinge so that it was bent in strange directions. Needed to replace them with something stronger and this did the trick.

Good but spendy

Solid hinge. Looks great, but you only get one in a pack and it’s expensive.

Should have ordered the product on line.

The product is good. But it is not in and hasn't been on the shelf for the last two weeks

It's very heavy duty.

Very Heavy Duty. My gate is 4' x 7' redwood and very heavy so I needed something strong to hold it up. This hinge is the strongest I found.

Solid and sturdy hinge

I bought these for my 12 ft double swing gate. The hinges are super good, the swing is smooth and because it takes 3 screws on the gate, it provides great support from sagging. I put stainless bolts instead of the screws on the gate and stainless lag screws on the posts. Wish National Hardware was giving this option, Shipping from MaxWarehouse was quick

Gate Hinge

Hinge work great, added to existing hinges since I increased the size of gate from 3'to 5'. Only down size was price of individual vs buying set.

Bought 2 of these for a gate for my driveway. The gate is 12ft long as I was unable to make it a double gate due to the house and concrete driveway. These are very sturdy and are holding up well with a wooden fence.

This product was awesome, we used on a 6’ wooden gate and it has worked great. I used two on each side thinking I might have to add an additional hinge later to handle the weight but it is taking it like a champ. Definite would use this product again.
