We purchased two of these for our boss' office. They match his desk and credenza perfectly! It really adds a touch of class to his office!

Matches Desk Set-Up Perfectly!

We have replaced our reception desk with the Alera Valencia Series reception desk with return. We put this shelving unit at the end of the return. It is a great height to still see over and gives the receptionist a great deal of privacy. Everyone comments how it looks just like it's part of the desk. The best part of it is that it doesn't look cheap. The back is actually the wood veneer - the same as every other part of the alera valencia series. The back looks as good as the front and sides and you don't usually see that these days. It also has the self-leveling feature, so the bookcase is 100% level on our horribly unlevel old floor. Love this!

Can't assemble

I wish I could review a standing bookcase. Looks like nice, heavy wood, real backboard as opposed to the usual cheap piece of cardboard. But it can not be assembled. The left side panel is in fact a right side panel with the holes for the kickboard on the wrong side. The two side panels are not interchangeable so a lot of drilling would be required to make it fit. I don't have the experience or the patience.
