Needed it for a movable washing sink that I couldn’t find a way to hook up a hose without a bunch of adapters. Screwed right on and works perfectly without leaks

Used to connect a garden hose to a Mustee utility sink drain. There was a little dripping when full pressure and the sink was full of water but it's gotten better over time. Almost nothing now. Tried different washers but couldn't get a perfect seal initially. Could always put some silicone on. Probably not a typical connection and the surfaces don't mate exactly. A solid piece would be ideal but this was the only adapter I could find.

I added a shower basin to a van that we were converting into an RV. This connected right up to the bar sink drain that we used for our shower and then we connected one of the short water hose extensions that's included with an RV in line water filter. From there we connected another water hose and ran it into they grey water tank we mounted under the van. Worked just fine.

I bought one of those fish cleaning tables with a sink to use with my camper. The sink just wants to drain into a bucket under the table, but dumping it is a hassle. I bought this gadget, screwed it onto the sink where the drain pipe attaches (surprisingly, it fit). I then attached a length of green garden hose and ran it off into the grass. although it's not a fast drain, it works well enough for our uses, and the green hose is enough camouflage that nobody has complained yet. If you've got one of those tables, this is the part you need.
