Does not drain food crumbs well

There is not enough slope to drain. So much wasted water getting crumbs down. Vey thin and “ tinny”

Things to think about

I thought a squared sink would be great, but it's difficult to get stuff out of the corners and into the drain. ALSO I've never had a new brand new stainless sink before and I don't like how it shows everything. Hopefully over time once I scratch it up it will behave like my old stainless sink...

Vault not worth then money

Purchased Kohler stainless steel sink to replace by stainless steel 60x40 sink. Thinking Kohler is the best The only good thing about the vault is it is large however it is terrible to clean . The sides come to 90 degrees angle which makes it very difficult to clean out any dirty. Need to use a tooth brush to get into the corners. The bottom of the sink should be curved so all food waste slides away And even using their suggested cleaning products the sink does scratch. The rubber feet on the bottom rack have scratched the bottom of the sink. The bottom rack is a pain in the neck, utensils fall through and stretch the bottom. The stainless steel finish stretches very easily. Very disappointed with this product. Sorry I purchased it.

Sink is rusting in 1 week

The sink bottoms are so flat this sink does not drain, water pools in half of it (and it's not the countertops). It has been installed less than a week and 4 of 8 corners now have RUST SPOTS even in the places the water didn't pool! It already has deep scratches in the surface without washing any heavy pots, pans or ceramic dishes. I NEVER would have expected issues like this with a Kohler sink or to have double the plumbing costs to replace it a week from install!!

Great size & style

I love this sink - this sink was at a vacation rental a few months back and I decided it would be as great addition in my kitchen. I love that it’s all one tub and deep, this gives me the space I need for big pots and lots of dinnerware after an evening dinner with the family! I ordered it direct from Kohler - it was on sale at 30% less than what my plumber could get.

Poor design: Not sufficient slope, bad for our environment

We've had this sink for 5 years...had just been installed in the high end kitchen of a house we bought. The sink is extremely frustrating to use because 1) food particulate matter accumulates in the corners which are intentionally designed with perfect 90 degree angles between the base, side, front and back panels, so it's quite difficult to clean the corners of the sink -- and by the way, the aesthetics are poor; 2) the bottom of the sink lies in a completely flat plane, so food scraps do not naturally move to the center drain, even with the use of a pull down faucet sprayer -- instead food sticks to the outer edges of the sink; 3) a great deal of water gets wasted in trying to get the food to move to the drain, given the lack of slope in the sink bottom; and 4) the rack on the sink bottom is pointless because one has to constantly remove it to clean the sink -- we stopped using the rack within a week.

DENT IN BOTTOM OF SINK!!!

I'm extremely disappointed in this sink. I didn't see the dent until after it was installed and neither did my installer. This was a very expensive installation so I won't be getting a replacement until...I die. So I'll have to look at it every day until then. Very frustrating.

Amazing sink, on time delivery

Not Good

I had this sink installed for my new remodel. Didn't have that many choices for 33" sink. The sink does not drain well at all. I have to push the food into the drain. I've been using the sink for 2 weeks and I already regret my choice. I don't have a strainer that works well with this sink. So sad.

Doesn't drain properly and scratches easily

We chose this sink as an "upgrade" for our newly-built home. It is good for washing large items, but that is it. Food particles get stuck and will not drain without a lot of water and coercion, because the sink was designed without sufficient slope. As others have noted, the corners are difficult to clean. And the rack that comes with the sink is difficult to get out without scratching my countertops in the process. I would not choose this sink again.
