This light fixture was the absolute perfect match to hang over my new kitchen island!! I LOVE IT!!

Beautiful, elegant island light

Beautiful light fixture and not too difficult to install. The brushed nickel looks high quality and elegant in place. Would note, however, that the small anchors included in the package would probably not hold in a ceiling and should be replaced with toggle bolts for safety. The fixture coincidentally matches my existing breakfast nook fixture nearby which is ten years old. Taking off a star for the flimsy anchors included, which could create a hazard for the unwary do-it-yourselfer.

I bought this for my dad’s kitchen. It needed some dating and it needed more light. This light is simple but stylish and it really brightened up the kitchen. I have the same light in my kitchen which helped with my decision to buy this for my dad.

Nice adjustable height pendant light

This fixture is really nice. I actually used it in a bathroom where I had only a ceiling mount box over the sinks. The adjustable height is nice. One of the glass pieces was broken, but overstock took care of the issue right away.

Buyer Beware

The design of the product is good and very flexible in the ability to configure the relative length of the three pendants. The manufacturing quality is questionable. It is difficult to get the pendants to hang vertically and with my unit, impossible with one pendant due to interference between the rod and holder. Installation is straightforward up to the task of affixing the cover plate (with pendants) to the ceiling-mounted flange.

Clean and stylish

I got rid of my fluorescent lighting and replaced with these pendant lights..Bigger than I expected but give great lighting and warmth to my kitchen. Love my purchase and fits right in with my breakfast nook lighting.

Simple to Install

Got these lights installed in a couple of hours! With that being said I already had all the electrical items on hand that I needed so there were no quick trips to the hardware store. The lights went together easily, the wires were amply long and the instructions really easy. The only drawback is that you don't know that you need some other screws until you read the instructions and those screws are not provided as they are dependent on your installation situation. Something should have been said up front about that fact. Luckily I had read the instructions and purchased a variety of screws for the install.

I had purchased a different light for my island and it wasn't in stock. Thank goodness because I went with this and am so happy! It is beautiful and perfect!

great light fixture and very affordable

We've purchased lighting from this site before and have never been disappointed with the items. This time the light fixture was easy to install and everyone who sees it tells us how much they like it. When it arrived one of the glass domes was broken. I call the next day and within 2 days received a replacement and the phone rep. was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this company!

Nice light

Lamp was packed well all parts were there. The directions should include how to center the light over an island. I attached the lamp to the wiring/box in ceiling. This lamp is about 3 feet long. To center it I tied a string with a nail for weight to each outer end. With the nail one inch above the counter I measured in to the nail from the front edge of the counter. When I had it horizontal I marked left and right outer holes for the screws and finished installation.

All the fixtures in/out of my home are brushed nickel. The glass shades are frosted with a swirl of gray throughout. We replaced a ceiling kitchen lamp over the center peninsula with this very attractive 3 down light fixture. The lamp was easy to install. I removed the old lamp. I installed the new canopy and mounting plate to the electric box, I then tied a string to each end with a weight (I used a nail) dropping down to one inch above the peninsula. I then measured in from the edge of the peninsula to the nail. When (after adjusting the mounting plate) the nails were perpendicular to the edge I installed the rest of the attaching hardware. This trick will keep the 3 down lamps perpendicular to the edge of your center island or peninsula. I installed three 40 watt equivalent light emitting diode bulbs that draw 6 1/2 watts each. 19 1/2 watts total. This new light has it's own switch. Looks great and draws your attention.

Very difficult to work with!

We were so excited to find a fixture that would work with one electric box. Unfortunately, our experience with this fixture was not a good one. The construction was flimsy, there were parts missing from the box, screws provided needed a washer to hold on the frame and were not provided, it was impossible to reach behind the frame to put in the screws to hold the light. Overall frustrating experience!

Nice features

I love my three piece light pendant. The light gives off a lot of brightness in my large kitchen area, it is the first thing you notice when you enter the kitchen area.

Bright and Right Scale

We wanted pendant lighting for over a fairly large kitchen peninsula, bright enough for us to remove an existing overhead fluorescent. This was a good choice.

Looks GREAT. Totally Updates Our Kitchen

My husband and I had a bit of difficulty hanging the fixture. Making sure it was straight before placing screws in our ceiling, at both ends of the fixture. The instructions could have been a little more explanatory in this area. There was a little problem on ONE of the hanging lights. The lamp holder base will not stay tight on the metal extension pole. We believe It is due to the tension of the wires inside the metal extension. When we tighten the lamp holder, it automatically unwinds from the tension. We even tried using plumbers tape between the the extension pole and lamp base. Unfortunately it didn't work. If we had to hang the fixture again, we would make sure the excess wires, inside the base of the light fixture, are not wound up at all. We are thinking about trying glue AND plumbers tape. (I don't believe it is not very noticeable to others.)
