Poor Description Led to Return

We have not hung this up yet, as it is for our new build home, but it is exactly what I was looking for!

The look was as expected

It's perfect!

I installed this light over my sink and counter where I cut my vegetables. It provides exactly the right amount of light for working with sharp knives. I was a little worried it might be too modern for my craftsman kitchen, but it's sleek and unobtrusive so it looks just fine. It also seems very well made and looks more expensive than it is.

Not 48"

In case exact measurement matters to anyone, this product (or at least the one I got) is not quite 48" long. By my tape measure it is 47.25. Also, the one I received is not linear. There is a noticeable bend in the hanging part that holds the LED bulb.

Defective and Missing a Part - Very Disappointed

The packaging was three sections of box poorly joined together poorly with tape. Inside, the product was shoddily packed in broken up Styrofoam that shed little crumbs all over when released from the box. The pendant itself was defective (a significant bend - not "linear" at all), the ceiling box was disassembled, and the electrical junction box was missing. It was pretty clear this was a opened return that nobody bothered to check before passing off to unlucky me. Build said they'd have Kuzco send a replacement, but I just received notice that it is backordered with no estimate of when it will be back in stock. I had paid extra for two-day delivery so I would have it in time to keep my kitchen remodel on track. Now I won't have it on time, and I have a pile of junk that won't even fit in my garbage can so I will have to pay money to dispose of it at the dump. The only positive thing I have to say about this is that customer service at Build is great. They have done all in their power to make this right. Thank you Build.

Love this fixture!

Ordered "brushed gold" to match GE Cafe Matte White appliances with brushed bronze handles. Not a perfect match, but a beautiful compliment. The light practically floats below my 9' ceiling, not obstructing nor pulling the ceiling lower. That said, the light bar itself is intense so we will adjust the height and install a dimmer to reduce its "bite".

Verry Happy

Well made, elegant light that was perfect for our dining room where we wanted a statement light but not something obtrusive. I call it the un-light!. The installation was straight forward. I was a bit nervous about ordering a white light but as I find white metal can look rather cheap however this was not a gloss white but more of a matte finish which looked good. The color of the light (temperature) was good - not too yellow and not too blue.

Be aware

My wife bought this two days ago. I installed without problem, but be aware the installation instruction are not that precise. A good diy should have not problem though. Be also aware that the led lights cannot be replaced. The whole unit has to be purchased to replace them. Kind of expensive to replace tiny led lights. Hope this lasts at least a few years so we can get into our money.

Love the light and looks great above the dining table. When on, it almost appears as its just a floating bar of light. Would definitely buy again.

Bought this for our study. Beautiful design, sleek and easy to install once we got power to the ceiling. Runs the length of the desk, diffused light. Color is perfect.
