The design is minimal, perfect for over a kitchen island. It should be professionally installed -- getting it level at the right height is important.

The light is just what I imagined. I was remolding my kitchen and wanted a functional yet very low profile light. This is it. Kirk was awesome to work with. I needed some design info and he provided plus more. Thank you Kirk!

Great light

We bought this light for our Colorado townhouse. The light quality was critical, and we needed something that was modern, fashionable, and reliable. This Vega light did the trick. We love it.

Minimalist beauty

After searching for months for the right option, we are pleased with this Vega linear pendant in brass finish. Our needs were a challenge as we searched for a dining table fixture with long enough wiring to accommodate our 16' vaulted, open concept great room. An unobtrusive design was the goal so as to not detract from our feature fireplace wall as viewed across from the entrance foyer area. Another challenge as many are finding is in identifying a finish that coordinates with the Delta champagne bronze plumbing fixtures. This fixture fit the bill. We are very happy to have a fixture that is nearly invisible, yet illuminates well and dimmable. Note: wiring does take time to straighten after install. I'm including a not so great photo due to the fact that this is new construction, not yet furnished.

Average Light

I think this is a decent light. I don’t feel like the cables look high end, kind of just basic braided grey lighting cables. The diffusers are very bright from the side, which hurts my wife’s eyes a lot if the dimmer is above 25%. I think it would of been better to get something that focuses light down better. Other than that the body and light quality is there.

Excellent value - great quality for the price

I bought this for over my dining room table. The room has high ceilings and big windows, and I was looking for something that would "blend in" and not take away from the architectural elements, but still provide a nice anchor feeling over the table. Most of all I'm impressed with the quality, it looks and feels more expensive than it is.

I love this pendant!

This pendant looks way more expensive than it is. It provides exactly the right amount of light over my sink and countertop and looks modern and sleek. It's a true metallic gold color which gives it an elegant look.

Cool Chandalier with overly industrial hue to the light

the tone of the light isn;t as soft as i had hoped. The Dimmer helps, but ultimately I would choose a chandalier with a softer light I was aware of this when I bought it but it during a dinner it feels industrial instad of cozy.

Love the look, but...

We bought this modern light fixture for our kitchen island. While we love the sleek look, the white, LED light itself is glaring and overpowering. Think craft table light. If you need a bright white light for drawing, jewelry making, etc., this is the light for you. However, if you want to have a nice meal under a comfortable and subtle light, or have folks gathered around for appetizers, it's glaring, casts weird shadows, and makes the room, and people, look flat and one dimensional. We even have it on a dimmer switch, and it doesn't help. Dimming it just makes everything look grey.

Nice design, strange color

I ordered this in the brass color to go with other light fixtures in my room but the tone of brass was pink-ish and it did not look good with the other lights. Also, there is a fairly thick plastic coating on the suspension wires that was not obvious in the on-line photos snd I really did not like that. Fortunately, Lumens were very helpful about the return/exchange and I bought the Essence Sudpension Light from Tech Lighting instead, which I love.

Okay light for the price

We felt that this light was a good option for a linear suspension light in Gold finish. Ultimately we didn't keep it because we decided it wasn't the style we wanted.

Excellent lighting and quality

Second time I have purchased this fixture for a client with the same satisfied result. The sleek design of this light makes it almost transparent. The spread of the light is amazing as well. I would and will purchase this fixture again for any of my contemporary clients.

Discrete and impactful!

I bought this light for a client and we both love it! The size was perfect for the dining portion of her kitchen island. I like the fact that the junction box and the 2 cables holding the light are gathered at the middle. Some other lights that are similar in look (but are more expensive!) have the junction box at the end of the fixture where the cable reaches the ceiling. Those wouldn't work for me because it would've offset the light from the center of the island. This is well thought out and the quality of light is great.
