Well-made medicine cabinet. We chose to surface-mount and utilized the side mirror accessories. Very spacious and clean-looking. Slow-close doors are quiet and reliable.

Great quality. It’s large, just what we needed. It is wall mounted so got the additional side mirrors. Looks great!

Overall it serves its purpose, however, there is some distortion in the mirror from certain distances. It will probably irritate me over time. I do like the mirrored inside, nice touch.

Pros and cons

Overall, this medicine cabinet mirror is higher quality than some others I checked out. It looks good, is functional, the doors close softly and it holds a lot. However, I am disappointed that the little round make-up mirror is not magnified and I had to insert putty into the slot so it's won't slide down. In retrospect, I think I paid too much for it.

This medicine cabinet is exactly what we were looking for. It has a nice clean and sleek design. It fits over our counter perfectly and fits tons of our small items keeping our counter free from clutter.

We bought two of these for our bathroom remodel and couldn't be more pleased.

Aluminum hanging strip is garbage

The aluminum hanging strip for 5he 30x40” medicine cabinet is too flimsy and bows if the hanging bracket on the mirror itself is not placed directly over a screw in the hanging strip which is anchored in a stud. This hanging strip might be strong enough for a smaller cabinet, but it will not support the 30x40 mirror weight. So, unless you have at least 2 studs To directly screw into the mounting strip is all but useless.

Happy with this Kohler medicine cabinet

Very stylish and versatile cabinet. The mirror on the front and inside doors is practical and the small detailing mirror is helpful. Only drawback is the need to take the doors off to adjust the shelves. They have quick release hinges but it would have been better for kohler to develop a version with easier to adjust shelves. Still, very satisfied with the product. Well made and a great value in my opinion.

Plenty of mirros and beautiful slow close hinges. We utilized the wall mount and it was easy to install. The only small complaint is the interior round mirror does not slide up and down easily to adjust for different heights.

Medicine cabinet

Very nice. Doors close slowly which is great. Mirror quality is ok but Not high quality. Too bad small mirror inside on the door isn’t magnified makes it completely purposeless. To change shelf place you have to completely remove the door, luckily they snap on & off easily. We had it professionally installed so I can’t say if it’s easy or hard.

THe difference between this and a $99 medicine cabinet is night and day. This medicine cabinet is well designed and well assembled. It is a piece of art! I love that there are mirrors on the back wall of the cabinet and on the inside of each of the doors. The hinges are the nice slow-close variety. This cabinet was meant to be set inside the wall—you’ll have to frame a hole for it if you do that. I do wish there was an alternative design option for it to be surface mounted. That’s what I did and I had to figure out a way to do it. But I still give it 5 stars.

We love this medicine cabinet! I especially like the inside makeup magnifying mirror inside, that slides to various heights. The Verdera 40" x 30" medicine cabinet was surface mounted and we needed to purchase a separate side mirror kit to cover the metal with holes in it on the side(s). Since one of our sides is on the wall we only needed 1 side piece, but we saved the other side piece in case we would need it in the future. It was expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I have loved this item for almost three years, since we re-did the bathroom. Lately, however, the edges of the center mirrored section have lost the silver, and now are only ugly black spots. Very disappointing for a $700 item. I will attempt to deal with 1-888 Lowe's Repair Center, as the site shows nothing about a warranty, or availability of replacement parts.

Overall this is a great medicine cabinet. The size is perfect for our bathroom and it seems to be very good quality. I love that every surface mirrored so that you can see yourself whether the doors are open or closed. The glass shelves look great and the doors open and close smoothly. We are having our contractor build a wood frame around it because the frames you can buy to go with it are so expensive. Even without a frame this medicine cabinet looks good. The only disappointment is that the flip out mirror is not magnified. Now that I re-read the description I see that if never says it's magnified but I just assumed it was so that's on me. Seems completely unnecessary to have an unmagnified flip out mirror since the doors open out and are mirrored on both sides. If it were magnified that would add a lot of value in my opinion and would make me absolutely love this product.

Great addition to a custom bathroom

This is a top quality cabinet constructed of all aluminum and mirror glass. The euro style hinges are easily detectable to facilitate installation and individually adjustable making in simple and quick to adjust them for perfect alignment. I surface mounted the unit and constructed my own surround. The mounting rail is about 35 inches long which means that unless you are extremely lucky, it will only hit 2 studs and either or both ends may not be supported. In my case, the 2 studs available for mounting were nearly centered leaving the outer 9-10 inches of the rail unsupported so I added a 50 pound wall anchor at each end for additional strength and stability as common sense dictated. It is solid as a rock and looks amazing...and more importantly, my wife is happy!
