Solar Pool Cover

Needed (2) of these to cover the pool. Easy to cut to shape, so far cut edges are holding up to being taken in and out of pool. I can't say how much better this is than any other product, but there is a significant difference in heat retention after installation. Without the cover, over 500K BTU Propane/Heater pump combo was unable to heat pool above 80F with air temperature of 75-79F. With 95% coverage with this blanket, we were able to heat from 73F to 85F in about 9 hours; note that air temperature was only 73F. Wife likes the way it looks on the pool, but is it getting salt stains from evaporation, so will need to be cleaned regularly. As a side note, this is not a safety cover, but our 5lb Pomeranian ran across the covered pool to chase a birdie and it was able to support him. Meaning its possible small animals could escape if their curiosity gets the better of them...none found in pool yet.

Recenttly bought for a 8x4 metre pool, quick delivery service got the 12mm thickness which is great but in hindsight sorry i never went for the 16mm wasnt that much of price difference it really does keep the pool between 5 & 8 degrees warmer so i would recommend good buy 5*

Great cover. Opted for the 25mm as this is thicker and thus less likely to damage during removal. Keeps to pool clean and the water warm.

Toile la plus performante que j’ai utilisé FANTASTIQUE !!!

Je voulais une toile résistante d’abord j’ai choisi celle-ci de 16 mm mais quelle surprise lorsque j’ai constaté qu’avec ma nouvelle toile la chaleur de ma piscine n’avait baissé de seulement 2 degrés F durant une nuit de 64 F et que la nuit d’avant avec mon ancienne toile de 11 mm elle avait perdu 10 degrés .Imaginez l’épargne que je fais car je maintient la température de ma piscine à 88 F. Je suis âgé et très frileux. Mon ancienne toile était aussi de grande qualité ayant payé $300 pour une 21 pieds h-t Transparente . J’ai acheté une de 40 x 20 pieds a cause en spécial, je l’ai taillé en deux pour faire deux de 20 x20 pieds, j’ai taillé dans la première pour en faire 21 pieds ronde et j’ai vendu la 2e partie $100 ce qui me fait une toile vraiment pas cher..Je la recommande fortement.

Solar Cover w/Reel, above grade

The cover with a reel solve a few desires on my above grade Intex type pool.

Great pool solar cover

The solar cover was topnotch as far a thickness. It also kept my pool nice and warm. The only drawback is that it can be a little challenging to remove and put away. You definitely need a reel to remove and put back in the pool. Overall, I love it

Pretty Good Deal

Perfect, inexpensive replacement vs high-priced covers that claim to last 3 years. Lighter weight than prior, more expensive covers. It's basic, (think large roll of blue bubble wrap). No side seams, and no pull-handles, just the cover, which for the price is great. Have been using it for about a month with no problems. Rolls up easily on our existing reel, and does a great job of warming up our 16' x 32' pool and retaining the heat overnight. Will wrap it up and cover it soon, and hope it withstands the New England winter.
