Here's how to fix the diverter not turning off the wand / sprayer

I've had this fixture for a couple years, and ran into the same issue everyone else has here: the diverter does not go back to "tub filler only" mode after you turn off and turn back on the water.

2nd time returning!!!

On the First purchase the box came open without parts, hand shower and manual. Second purchase box looks good but now that it’s installed it’s leaking and the hand shower doesn’t work! Who pays for the plumber work that I will need to pay again?

All looks, no quality.

Installed 2 years ago and is now leaking from the handle. Leak started while I was away on work and caused water damage to flooring and subfloor. It looks pretty, but for the money I spent, I'd have expected it to last longer.

Utter garbage - I hate this thing so much

Please do not buy this expensive piece of garbage. Our "designer" picked this for our primary bath remodel. Apparently she did not do any research before spending $3000 of our money on this item, as the other reviews show it has major known design issues.

Don't waste your money

The wand function works when it wants. Half the time we turn the faucet on and spray the whole bathroom with water because the wand decides to come on too. Replaced twice and still does the same thing.

DIverter Malfunction

I decided to use this on my new construction build home. Diverter broke after one use. Ridiculous especially at this price point. Do your self a favor and do not purchase

This hand filler has ruined things in our bathroom! Does not shut off and sprays everywhere!

Hand Shower

Just had this installed. Please explain how to turn on the hand shower. I cannot figure it out.

I have replaced the diverter twice within 3 years. So disappointing. I dont want to be doing my own repairs on such a "high end" purchase.

Flow rate is too high

This faucet has a really high flow rate which you would think is a good thing but it won’t work with my instant water heater . The flow rate can’t be adjusted ( that I can see) rendering this faucet useless which I only discovered after installing it. The basin faucets and shower faucets all from the same range are fine and have a flow rate within the acceptable range .

It’s beautiful! Works perfectly and functions as promised.

We just got the tub filler installed and I can not for the life of me figure out how to get the sprayer to work. Please help

Disappointed

We installed the Kohler Purist hardware for our bathroom remodel, and after a year we are having problems with just about everything. For this tub filler, we now have a leak in the hand wand. It was installed by a professional plumber.

Absolutely perfect. Well worth the price.

Works well, haven't had a problem yet.

Updating review: Switching between the shower handle and faucet is not possible anymore. It just stays on faucet only. No amount of adjusting can fix it. Kohler products has low reliability now a days. Looks good but break down fast. Best avoided in the future. Item came with missing base. Wayfair customer service was good so they replaced it. Unfortunately the replaces faucet was also faulty.

Shower Head Stuck On? READ THIS

I had the same problem with the diverter valve not functioning correctly as so many others who have left reviews. I thought the diverter assembly was broken and ordered a replacement from Kohler when I stumbled across a review that said "The issue was debris in the line would not let it retract back to its "off" state. Take the hose off the stand and take a 12mm allen wrench to remove the diverter valve. Use caution screwing it on and off since there are fine threads on the inner end. Remove the core and clean all surfaces well. Reinstall and it should work as new."
