Amazed of the results!
Love these! I now have them in 3 rooms. They do need to be painted in order to look like the real thing but we painted them before putting them up which worked very well. Only required a little touch up where we accidentally scraped a couple.
We purchased these ceiling tiles to install in two rooms of our Victorian home where we needed something “forgiving” of flaws in the ceilings. The panels are like styrofoam so are light and easy to work with. They cut easily. We painted them using a thick roller and they painted easily.
Absolutely stunning! Painted the plane styrofoam tiles with acrylic metallic paint, then antique with black acrylic paint. Used an instant grab glue to put tiles up. Simple, easy process. Incredibly pleased with the results. Spend a lot of time laying on the floor just looking at the ceiling! The tiles I ordered for another room arrived today, cant wait to start getting them ready.
AMAZING can't say enough so easy to put up and beautiful finish results !!!!
I am blown away !!! And so is my wife! We have a 1911 house and someone did a horrible job covering the lath and plaster ceiling with drywall then rolled spray ceiling on to cover their abomination. The ceiling in question was in our bedroom and we really didn't mind so much everywhere else in the house took priority but every time we looked up we cringed. This is amazing! easy to install and wow what a finished look! I have been looking for years for something to do with the ceiling and this was great. I am so glad I was looking online and found this ( Ron Hazelton ) Would recommend 100% I have even given the web sight and shared pics with people in Home Depot I overheard talking about their ceilings. Love looking at the light on ceiling in the morning !!!

This product was super easy to use and looks absolutely fantastic after caulking and painting. One tip: a paint roller did not do the trick. I needed to use a 4 inch brush to get in all the recesses. It took a little patience, but my bathroom ceiling looks awesome!
Great quality, easy to install. These are large tiles….sheets of a thin styrofoam type product. So easy to install. I thought it would be easier to paint first then install but for me the paint would scratch off easily as I installed so I installed first then sprayed my ceiling. It looks awesome. We completed installing this large ceiling area in one day and then painted it in less than two hours the next day(sprayed).
These tiles worked great for my living room. I purchased a home built in 1935 which needed some creative solutions for "not so straight" walls and ceilings (after all, she's like an old woman who has shifted her weight here and there). The tiles were easy to cut to fit and needed no other preparations. The tiles easily hid water damage (the roof has been replaced!). My new look is just perfect for an 86 year old home. Thank you, Wayfair. My images show what kind of repair/damages we started with and the final result of our work.
Foam Glue-up Ceiling Tile
Although I was expecting the styrofoam to be thicker, now that I have started painting them, I am so excited to put these tiles up! Painting will be a challenge too. I’ve experimented and found that applying a primer first (I’m using Minwax Polycrylic) is necessary due to soaking into the nooks and crannies. I’m spraying with a HVLP sprayer for the primer and then base coat. Then, I will hand paint my 2nd color and finish with glossy Minwax again. I’m doing a patina effect. It will be spectacular! We put one up and it looks just like an old tile.
I love the ceiling tile. It is gorgeous once it’s up. And once you snap a chalk line and start putting it up it just looks gorgeous.
Beautiful
My bedroom ceiling had an awful scar where the previous owners had repaired a plumbing issue from the upstairs bathroom. I wanted to be able to transform the ugly ceiling into one of beauty. This product did the trick. The product is very easy to work with, and there are several videos online (just search for them) that can guide you through the process. The best tip I got from the videos was to use a paint roller to smooth the tiles rather than using your hands. These tiles are extremely easy to cut. With many styles available, I selected this Victorian pattern to match my bedroom suite's style. Not only do these tiles brighten the room, they provide sound dampening as well as insulation. Awesome product!
This is the third room I’ve done with these tiles. I have to admit I’m getting quite good at painting and putting them up. Once ordered, they arrived in just a few days (earlier than I expected), which was great! I got to painting them right away. I did 3 separate coats of paint on these in order to get the aged, metallic, “old tin” effect. Then I put them up using Heavy Duty Liquid Nails glue with a caulking gun. Because I applied these in a bathroom this time, I decided to use clear silicone caulking in all the cracks and edges to eliminate any possibility of moisture getting up underneath. This bathroom is in a rental unit, the tenants love the look.

These are absolute garbage. The product that was delivered was not at all what was advertised (other than the embossed design, color, texture, etc. All were wildly different). The online product page even had videos and pictures of PVC ceiling tiles both being installed and after installation... these ones looked like brittle packaging styrofoam, not the type of foam one associates with ceiling tiles. The store associate at Home Depot was great about returning my money on the spot because it was clear no one would purposely order these.
Victorian Glue- up Styrofoam Ceiling Tile 20 in x 20 in #R 14
I was really excited about getting the faux tin decorative ceiling tiles. When I received them I was so very disappointed. I know they say faux but they were really faux. They do not look at all a little bit real. They look faux. I did not put them up. So much for trying to save a few dollars and maybe achieve the same look. The quality was really poor. I have ordered faux crown molding, faux brick, stone & other products but this one from this company was the worst by far. I do not recommend this product. Try another company
Love it!
I recently moved into the home I grew up in. The house has many issues and needed lots of updating.

Excellent product - great final results
This is an easy-to-install option for a professional looking ceiling. As suggested in the instructions, the adhesive does not have any bondline-read-through when it is applied as dots along the perimeter and then long certain feature lines in the middle. Plan on using a tube of adhesive for every 2-3 tiles. I primed with an exterior-grade acrylic primer and then caulked and applied a final coat once installed. I used an ultra-flat ceiling paint but had some hairline cracks appear at the caulk lines (I think this was due to the DAP ALEX white caulk) - I would recommend a higher polymer-content, better film-forming wall paint instead of ceiling paint (based on my experience). This was installed in a coffered ceiling so I used a perimeter of flat panel sections (cut from the "Bead Board" panel type) around the Victorian tiles - it looks great!
