BEST FAN EVER!!!! Loud fan to drown out noise!!

This is the 2nd time I have purchased this fan. It will drown out any outside noise that has been bothering you. Lawn mowers - no problem. Loud cars - no problem. It is the best!!!! If you need a loud fan that will cover any outside noise then get this one.

small but does the job as a big fan

Company purchased this fan a few days ago (8/2/2024) , and i was hoping it would move air like i needed inside the tech dept area, where we work, and not be so loud or noisy. now granted we are here in the south, and those that are familiar with the south, knows it can get real hot and really humid outside. right now we are seeing heat index of 103-110 degrees, in which this make a perfect fit for our technical dept. and noise level is decent, can still talk to others around the fan without raising voice.

Works great. Could have been a little cheaper. Actually found it cheaper at another online shop. But I do love it. Really nice fan.

I would buy this fan again and again

Worth every penny! It's highest setting really kicks out. If you need a fan, or cannot afford an expensive AC unit at the moment, I highly recommend you buy this one! It kicks out a great stream of air without drawing in only warm air towards you. With society's new normal of excruciating hot temperatures, you could use this powerhouse in your home or office!

Needs Power Adjustment

The fan was powerful when I first purchased it. Now it's no longer blowing powerful air. It constantly goes to a low settings but it's on high. It's lost it's power. I'll give this fan a 3 1/2.

Tools required for assembly

Philips screw driver needed to remove four screws because throw away plastic sleeve was screwed unto stand. Second fan required 1/2” ratchet to remove and reinstall fan bracket that had been incorrectly installed. Fans work fine.

Great fan, great price

This fan is perfect for the garage. Lightweight but puts out a lot of air without excessive noise. Perfect for circulating air for comfort ,or in my case drying off Christmas decorations in the garage prior to storing them

Simple and well-built

We needed a simple fan for our back patio to keep the mosquitos away. Didn't need an expensive barrel fan, just something to blow a medium velocity airstream. This fan fits the bill perfectly. It's sturdily built, easy to assemble, simple to use, and (relatively) quiet in operation. A good value!

Wind machine

We use this in different rooms that need help cooling. BUTTT it is in my room at night because I love the sound of the motor.. This fan is not advertised as " Quite" It is also not "Noisy" it does have a quite hum that gets louder with the change of speeds.

Good camping fan

I saw a lot of reviews that said this fan was noisy. Well it is, what do you expect from an industrial style fan that blows like a tornado. This fan will do just fine for our camping this summer, and I recommend it as well. I would say though, the cord seems a little shorter, but that is what an extension cord is for. The speeds are noticeably different, but not dramatically different. Oh and did I say it pushes the air really well?

This fan give the wind!

We literally fight over this fan here at my house. My husband is a fan fanatic, and so is my daughter. We have several, but none as powerful as this one. Works great outside or inside. Usually keep it outside on the covered patio, but find it in my daughters room from time to time. It cools you off in a hurry, very strong wind speed that travels far. Great fan!

Best fan ever

We were able to use "rewards points" to buy things at my last place of employment. There were thousands of things to purchase. I procured many. This fan was one of them. IT IS WONDERFUL!! It is so great that I then used my rewards to get one for my brother. If you need to use anything other than the low speed....you need some ventilation or a cool air return. It is so powerful and works so well. 10/10 DO recommend.

And while it meets our needs, there are a few reasons for only providing three stars: (1) By leaving the fan plugged in - whether on or off - the motor gets exceedingly hot to the touch. (2) Admittedly this second critique is nitpicky, but for a fan of this size I wish it had broader speed control options and had more power on the high setting.

I love this fan so much. We use it for mosquito control and social distancing. Have to be outside? No problem - turn on the fan, stay cool, blow the virus and the mosquitoes to kingdom-come. Use indoors or out. Note: I usually only turn it to the first speed, but at high speed, you could probably get lift-off.

It makes a huge amount of noise, even on low. It rattles, shakes, and hums all the time. On low, conversation is difficult, on high it's impossible. It never stays in a level position, always rotating itself back to about a 45 degree angle. Even with the feet on (I had to remove them to remove the packaging, then put them back on, which is annoying) it travels around on the hardwood floor. It mostly stays put on carpet. On high it's terrifying. I hate it.

Coll comfort without the need of an AC

Our hot days on the river in the Rv will be so much cooler now with this fan. We have Ac but would prefer to run this fan to save on cost and this fan cools just as good! Its quite and blows a good steady fresh breeze. This fan also provides some light sound so that the quiet isn't to overwhelming. GREAT quality materials and made to out last your average fan. Compact enough to put in any area.

I order this fan a week ago and was pretty skeptical due to the fact that this is first time buying from this particular brand. However, the build quality is good, the design is clean, and the power... man the power. This fan cooled down my 12x12 space in seconds. The cool air could be felt all over, even without directing the fan. I have one satisfied customer. Lets see how this thing fairs through the summer, and I'll update my review in 90 days.

This fan is the bomb! Being that it is a all metal construction, it does a much better job than one made with a lot of plastic parts. Cost more that a cheapo plastic bladed fan of the same size, however the extra money you spend is well worth it. This baby has save me this summer in the sweltering heat in Central Florida. Highly recommended, would buy one again!

This is the most amazing fan I've EVER had/used. It is only on low and it circulates the air in my apartment. If you have to have air circulation at all times like myself, this is your fan. I do need to contact overstock.com since the fan was missing the tool to adjust the nuts for different angles. Also, this is not for the weak, so to speak, it's all metal, no plastic on this beast! I've already recommended this to several friends that will make this purchase. Very nice needed carry handle as well.

Excellent! I'm super impressed with how much air this fan moves. I have had larger fans and this fan works better than the ones I used to have. Worth every penny. I use it in my garage gym. Definitely moves a lot of air. It's not super heavy and it's not loud. The base can collapse for easy storage. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Another great overstock buy!
