Colors are true to the ads photos!

I was so nervous about getting this rug in the reds, blacks, blues, yellows in contrast to what I did have in my sunroom. I went from bohemian baby blues, pinks, greens, etc so I needed a change and went with something bold. Wow this changed the feel of my space for the good! I am so happy with this rug. I got the large one in the 11x15 size. I was needing a couple feet more on the shorter end for my sunroom size but this does not bother me. The colors are true to what the ad photos shows, bold and beautiful. Others mention the rug patterns are pretty pixelated up close but this is not the case for me as the patterns are right there and not pixilated but bold and you can clearly see right away what the patterns are. I am thinking of getting another for our living room! The rug feels so soft and plush under bare feet and the rug has thickness to it so it's not a cheap rug. This is one of the better made area rugs I've purchased over the years. I love it!

Super plush runner rug

Quite impressed with this rug. Feels great underfoot although an identical one I purchased from another retailer seems cushier. Just by a hair. Or maybe it’s my imagination. In any case, although it’s synthetic material I love it.

OK for the price..dissapointed.

Did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, this will be the last time we buy their products. Not very thick or soft. We bought 2 of these due to the great quality we have been accustomed to from years of purchasing Safavieh rugs..Very dissapointing.

Happy with this rug!

I purchased the round version of this rug. The picture is very true to the actual rug. I l8ke the old fashion look of this rug. I should have ordered the rug pad right away because this rug is being used in a study area with a desk and office chair. The wheels on the chair are starting to wear down the rug in spots. I'll be ordering a rug pad soon.

I have a nice collection of antique Turkish carpets and the thought of a new one wasn't too thrilling, but I needed a throw rug in front of my couch and i thought I'd try one of these. It was shockingly beautiful and very cushy ( which old carpets are not). The price of course is a great feature but the quality is even better. I'll get a couple more of these.

Not what I was expecting

It was easy to buy the rug. The only draw back was the lack of easy option to send to Canada so I had to deliver to the USA. I picked it up and it's not as nice to look it. Get rough and too machine made looking. It wouldn't open without cutting out the plastic and now I can't return it because it's not in original packaging. Taking it back to Canada tomorrow (new years) when customer service is off so I can't figure this out. Very disappointed

Not the whole design

The rug I saw and ordered was not the same when it came. It seems that the smaller sizes do not have the full design on them. I loved the full design and that is why I ordered it. The design is cut in half meaning the full size not there. No where on the page did it state any of this only on the little paper that comes with the rug. It's not as pretty as what I thought I was getting

Wrong Measurements

Happy with this rug for the most part. It was cheap but feels pretty good for being so. It gives off a pixelated look when up close. I ordered an 8x8 Square, but it came and looked a little smaller. I measured and found that it is just over 7.5 feet. Not a huge deal, but does not fill the space the same way. Too much of a hassle to return

I bought both a small rug for the foot and the large one for under my dining table. The colors are very vibrant. It looks distressed, but it's actually how the rug was hooked. It's synthetic so it cleans really well with a steam cleaner and doesn't fade. Takes traffic really well. I get compliments on it all the time. I do have rug grips under the corners as it does slide a bit. Shipped quick and packaged nicely.

Entry

I bought this for an entry way, for rugged use ( no pun intended), especially in the winter, for wet, snowy and dirty shoes, wiping the dogs feet, putting on cleats in icy weather. I'm not worried about the rug! It's polyester. The colors are good, doesn't show dirt. Not an expensive looking rug but it doesn't look cheap. It looks good!

This rug is thick! I don't even have to use a rug pad. The colors are very vibrant! I live on the water and have a coastal vibe going. This is a nice change. It adds coziness to my living room. It came folded and I followed the directions to roll it up for 24-48 hours and it looks great! No shedding and doesn't smell. I feel I'm going to be really happy with this purchase.

I love the pile height and comfort of this rug. We are using a thick rug pad because that's the feel I wanted for the room, but it's not too thin on its own. The colors are very bold, especially the black edge. There are times I wish it were more muted, but that's just personal preference. This rug fit the budget for the size I needed and doesn't feel cheap in terms of quality. All the pieces of our sectional haven't come in in the picture, so the room isn't quite finished. Will probably move the furniture so more of center of rug shows once all pieces are in. The blue color that I like best is in the center of the rug.

Beautiful colors and amazingly thick!

This is a gorgeous rug, so plush and thick. Very tight pile -- so comfy underfoot and to sit on. I've used it in our family room and our loft space (see photos). Both are equally statement-making! I have it in the loft for now, and love how it ties together all the colors and moods going on. There is so much to play off with this rug. A few spots look a little "bright", where it's supposed to look worn and vintage. I can get over that, for the incredible price point. I mean, it's as close to vintage as you're going to get the look of, without the price tag!

Nice Hamadan Design

I purchased this small rug to add to an 8x10 Hamadan Gody rug. The only synthetic-fabric rugs I own, they were the only affordable Hamadans I could afford, so I took the chance. The design and color are very nice, and Safavieh rugs are always good quality. I have the rugs in a dimly-lit room, so the fact that they are not wool is not obvious. I wouldn't, however, put a rug like this in a living room. I do wish rugs like this would not be artificially distressed, as I think it looks tacky and obvious. With all that said, I am very pleased with this rug, with the quick shipping time, packing, and the fact that the online photo showed colors accurately.

Beautiful for a manufactured Kilim

I love this rug! It is so great for the price! had been looking for a smaller square rug, I saw photos of this and couldn't believe the authenticity of the look of it! There was another review criticizing the irregularities of the pattern, but with real hand woven kilims you will find irregular details. However, I was worried about the reports of weird green and pink colors thrown in the off white part and found it surprisingly doesn't really show or distract from the overall look! I posted photos with a chair I have pillows that are the REAL deal, from hand woven kilim -I bought these from a rug dealer at Camden Lock in London! So you can see this rug although manufactured, doesn't stand out like a fake manufactured rug might. The colors are rich and it's nice and cushy, soft plush! It feels so nice under your bare feet! My two cats love it and immediately started rolling around on it! Speaking of which, one if my cats has digestive issues and already "Christened" it. It was very easy to clean with just a paper towel and I use a pet cleaner in a spray. I love this rug, mostly for how it feels under my feet! Fantastic buy for the price! Love it!

Great rug, good price, soft feel

This rug is lovely in person. It makes a great replacement for the high-dollar rug that was getting destroyed in our main entryway. There's a great mix of colors and the distressed style is exactly what I was looking for -- an inexpensive rug that already looks a bit worn but not necessarily cheap. At a great price, I don't mind if I have to replace this rug every few years. The pile is very soft and fairly thick. We added a non-skid pad underneath to keep it from sliding and it added to the squishy-ness. We love this rug and hope something similar is available when it's time to replace it.

Perfect quality, service, and price!

It's beautiful! It seems a little darker than the picture on the website, but it may just be my lighting. It really adds color and warmth to my hallway. I'm very pleased to get a 14 foot runner rug for under $***!! Another site I looked at was charging $**/foot, which got too expensive real fast. This rug is also thicker/plusher than I expected-which is super! It doesn't have the rubber backing like some of my thinner rugs, but is more luxurious for sure. I do have a little cabinet sitting on it that will prevent it from slipping around. I also have double sided rug tape if needed. I didn't get a pad to go under it, though that's probably the best way to do it. So, I just got it today...5 days after placing order...and I'm really happy! Quick, easy, affordable, perfect!

Beauty and quality, from drab to a gem space

This 4 x 6 was the perfect accent piece to set the right tone for this kitchen. An ultra luxury pad was added to give it a bounce and extend the life of this nicely made carpet. I read the comments from the interior designer about the stunning quality of this reasonably priced area rug. Too, I noticed the comments about the hardly noticeable bright white subtle speckles. They are there but add a clean freshness to this otherwise perky, elegant and versatile area rug. I was stunned and so glad when I unrolled this from its package. There was hardly any odor, no excessive curling and -- despite its long journey to me -- it lay down on the carpet pad like it was "at home" right out of the package. My dogs immediately inspected the plush pile and lay down comfortably. Not only is this a gorgeous center piece for the room, but it will a cute puppy cuddle spot, while I wait for my first morning brew. The design is so versatile and, while I can relax it won't show every soil between spot cleanings, I can add my red beachy kitchen towel accents and red pots and pans. This rug really works well in this room and is a great addition to my area rug inventory.

Are the imperfections purposeful?

This rug has grown on me. It is soft and warms the room but when I first received it, I was very disappointed. It looks very cheaply printed and not in any way like a vintage oriental rug. It looks like it is printed to look like a vintage oriental distressed rug but it is so obvious that it makes it look cheap instead. There are what appear to be purposeful imperfections in the print pattern that make the lines look uneven but when I first saw it, I questioned whether the imperfections were purposeful. Truthfully, the rug on the website looks a lot like the rug in the room - if you don't look at it too closely. I would have liked the rug to look a little less fake, I guess. I realize now that the price I paid, while very low, was very fair for the quality. I was not really getting a good deal.

Stylish rug, soft and good buy

As an Interior Designer and reading all the reviews, I took a chance on ordering the 8x10 rug. To set the expectations; This is not going to be a wool, hand loomed rug from the Middle East that will be handed down for generations and become priceless. However, for the time, this is an exceptionally soft, cut pile, stylish rug that will add color, style and character to any room. The colors are bright, but not glaring, the lines and fade marks are not perfect which adds to the vintage vibe. The price point can't be beat and would be good for almost any setting. Close up, some of the colors ways are a bit pixilated in areas, but standing back at 3-4' the color and designs blend nicely. SAFAVIEH is a solid manufacturer and I'm pleased with the purchase.
