This series is perfect for kindergarten! It is so hard to find social studies books at this level. I love the large photos and the simple text.

A Wonderful Resource for Our Homeschool Social Studies Lessons

These Ready Readers have become a tremendous assest to our homeschool social studies lessons! Each book offers an age-appropriate introduction to an important landmark in the United States. What I love most about these books is that the information is compressed into just a few pages, but is still just as informative where my child is learning quite a bit all in one sitting. The reading level is perfect for him, so we can either read these together or he can do so all on his own. One of the major highlights in each book from this series is the fact that they all offer beautiful full-color photography on every page. They really are a fun way to get in bite-size history/social studies lessons throughout the week.

Perfect for young readers!

It is so hard to find good social studies books for K-1. This book is perfect! The text is minimal and big enough for my students to read and find text features. The pictures are big and my students love looking through these books.
