I have two of these frames. It is well constructed and well priced for that amount of money. The motor is silent.
Worst quality
It is very bad quality product. I do not recommend any one buy it. Customer rep from Vivo rude and she asked me to buy stabilizer because it is shaken and dancing when you turn it on.
Hope it will work for you
Much heavier than you would think, but I like that because it equals studiness. We just set it up three days ago, so no comments on longevity. But the telescoping legs and the motor seem to be well-built and operate smoothly. Here's hoping we get 5 years out of it! I am doubtful that the working load in excess of 150 pounds is realistic. We put a top on it (Alcera 72x30) that weighs 50 pounds, and we probably have about 20 pounds of books and computers. I don't think that I would load it up much more than that.

My husband bought a nice slab of pine, sanded it down, rounded the edges, stained, and poly and it is just beautiful! The desk has great HP, is quiet, smooth, and sturdy when in operation. Totally recommend.
