A Lovely Lamp!

The scandinavian/industrial look of this lamp feels designer yet effortless. Was a little nervous reading other reviews about experiencing a wobbly base, but my lamp is very secure as of now. Assembly was also a breeze! Took under 15 minutes to put together with easy-to-follow instructions. Very pleased with my purchase!

Perfect for my needs.

It's not pretty but it is totally functional. I wanted a light to put beside my living room chair that would focus on the books I am reading. This fit the bill. The only thing that would make it look more attractive is if the black cord was clear.

Boho or modern decor

This is a beautiful piece, perfect for a boho, transitional, or modern look. The same product cost less through Home Depot than other outlets selling it.

The black cord is more prominent than I would like but it seems like good quality!

Framing Pine?

The wood that this lamp is made out of looks like is was made from big box store framing pine. Not worth the money, even at the half price I bought it for. Would of thought I would be getting a decent product from Macy's. Disappointed....

This is such a fabulous lamp, just right for our modern cabin style! it is easy to turn on and off and it stays in place wherever you set it.

Versatile lamp for home office

This is a very attractive lamp, light enough to move around but with a base that's heavy enough to be stable. Height and tilt are easily adjustable. As others have mentioned, the switch is somewhat awkwardly placed, but for me this is a minor inconvenience on an otherwise useful, versatile, and reasonably priced lamp. I use it in my home office which has big windows and great variation in natural light from day to day and hour to hour; I can easily move and adjust this lamp accordingly.

Love the way it looks & was easy to set up. Most important was the light it gives off which is perfect for me to knit by.

I like this lamp a lot. It was easy to put together. The shade is more pure white than off-white, fyi. But it's a cool lamp--very industrial, though. I find the base to be very sturdy. You do have to make sure the adjustment knob at the bend is secure or it will lower on you as you read. :) That all said--I got this lamp on sale for $65.00. I'm not sure if I'd pay $115.00 for it.

We thought this was reasonably priced but did not seem good enough for a quality floor lamp because we could not tighten the screws enough to prevent a slight wobble in the vertical support. The base was heavy enough. Perhaps a slightly longer metal plate at the bottom. We kept it to use in an alternate location.
