Simple and clean

Like the design and clean look. It's sturdy, but not overly so.

Flimsy, and the wood dowels were brittle, we returned.

Looks great but not easy to assemble.

Ideally you would want a drill with an Allen attachment. Definitely a two person job.

Holes don’t align. Cannot assemble it

Shelf is nice and I was able to assemble it myself. I get towards the end of assembling it to realize one wood has unparalleled holes so I can’t screw it together with the other wood. Called customer service to get a replacement abs the said I could only get a refund, meaning I’ll have to dissemble what took me abs hour to put together, pack it all back up, print a shipping label, ship it, and then wait 1 week for a refund to reorder, because god knows I’m not reordering the same item until I get my refund back. It’s all just inconvenient due to a careless mistake. The item was never quality checked before the boxed and shipped it.

I ordered this ladder bookcase for my home office. It was shipped quickly and packaged well. All the parts were labeled well and all necessary parts were included. Assembly was quick and easy thanks to the instructions. This bookcase is made from mdf, but it is sturdy. Each shelf is a little larger than the next, so larger items can be stored or displayed at the bottom, and smaller items at the top. The finish is a bright white and coordinates well with my other white furniture pieces in the room. I would recommend this shelf if you have a need. Thanks so much Walker Edison and The Home Depot!

Aside from it looking very plastic, it does look clean and does the job we needed it to do for us. Went together pretty well according to their directions. Well priced, too. We'll see how long it holds up with nick~nicks on it. Thank you Home Depot!

Unimpressed

Vague instructions which are mostly illustrated. While everything is labeled and individually packaged the pegs (which hold all the shelves and back spacers in place) are extremely poor quality and break off easily into the particle board shelves. You can’t retrieve the broken pegs out of the holes once broken off. You must also be careful of the placement of the predrilled screw holes, as some are mis-aligned causing the screws to break through the surface of the shelves.

Great... once you get it together

This was NOT easy to put together for one person - definitely recommend finding someone else to help. Also, the wood pegs are very brittle and the holes are sometimes not quite large enough. A soft padded mallet will help with this but I also recommend pre-drilling the holes slightly wider as well.

Awesome, directions by me are way better than theirs. I love them but a bit complicated to put together if you follow directions. The directions can be simplified!! Thank you love

Good shipping time and packaging. Unfortunately the top did not align properly but it will work. This is because the shelves holes are off a bit. Nonetheless a good fit for the area.

Really pretty and sturdy!

I really loved this product! The finished bookshelf looks amazing. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because building this thing was a hassle, some holes were smaller than the actual screws. Overall, really beautiful and sturdy and complements a small space really nicely!

Really a great discreet addition to my small room.

The little wooden pegs break easily. When being built, I t’s difficult to keep the shelves from flopping over thusly snapping the pegs. Definitely a job for more than two hands but easy enough.
