You get what you pay for.

My fault for not checking, but this thing isn't thermostatically controlled, and it doesn't have a remote. I didn't even check since almost all of them come that way now.

10 out of 10, I recommend!

Not only does this tv stand look amazing, but it was so easy to build! The instructions were clear, the diagrams easy to follow, and the unit is very sturdy. Got here in 2 days and took less than 2 hours to build with a friend. I have nothing bad to say.

Piece broken…

Shipped on time… however when I went to assemble the product one of the pieces came broken. Pretty disappointing considering I’m really excited to get this put together and set up. I’m hoping the seller contacts me back to send me the broken piece. Will change the rating once this is taken care of.

this product looks great in pictures, but is a nightmare to assemble. then once assembled it has obvious defects. pieces dont line up correctly. mine even has a huge chunk of an inside corner missing where the wood chipped off completely.

Well made. It works great and heats our newly remodeled basement. Our furnace went out on Christmas Eve and it has been keeping the basement warm for a few days until we could get a part ordered. We love it!

Got what I paid for.

Looks good, flame pattern is a little basic but infortunately within 1-2 weeks a clicking noise started, and it's pretty annoying. Don't know what my solution would be aside from taking the whole thing apart and getting the fireplace part replaced... Seems like a huge headache for something that should still be working considering it's only a few weeks old.

The pictures look much better online than the real product. We wanted fireplace stand off the floor so this checked that box but the wood looks obviously fake, the flames are lackluster and the blower is a little loud for our liking. We bought two originally and after putting the first together we returned the second.

Fireplace is the only good thing about this

We wanted a long tv stand with a built in fireplace to hold our 70inch TV. Fairly easy to put together. The only good thing about this, was the fireplace. It heated up our living room whenever we were cold and we loved the ambiance thst gave as well. Fast forward to a year later. The middle part is now sagging on the bottom. Moved to a new house and the whole thing practically fell apart. We have it stored in the basement now. Extremely disappointed in the quality of this stand.

It came with a broken piece and they don't have a replacement piece in stock. The customer service responded quickly but it sucks that they couldn't help. I don't want to go through returning bc what if something else is damaged in the next one. My number 11 piece came broken. It's particle board but it looks like it'll look exactly like I picture once it's complete. Can I put it together and it still look right without this part?

Perfect Size Fireplace and TV Stand

I have wanted this color fireplace/tv stand for a LONG time. Finally, I broke down and bought it. It was delivered in a timely manner with no problems to the product itself. The cardboard box had just 2 dings in it, but that didn't affect the product itself. My husband and I put it together pretty quickly and were surprised to find more dowels and cams etc. than were needed. That's a plus for someone who doesn't read directions, but we had already read them and I also read the reviews that said they were a bit stingy with the wood glue, which was true but my husband squeezed every single bit of wood glue out of that tube and we didn't lack anything. It is the perfect size for where we wanted to put it. The color blends nicely with the rest of the room and the fireplace heats up and gives out a great deal of warmth, which is wonderful during the winter months. We did have a remote for our last one but we really don't miss it. Our last one also had doors on either side of the fireplace and I hated them because they were extremely hard to clean. This has no doors, just nice clean looks and I like that. I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone and everyone if you're thinking about a fireplace/tv stand but don't want to pay a lot of money for one I think you'd be very happy with this particular one.

Nice piece.

Been wanting a fireplace tv stand. After getting a lesser quality one, which we returned, we settled for this one. It has a nice look to it. Gives off a decent kick of heat. I would recommend the handyman service. For $79 it was a no brainer since my husband and I dont have time or desire to put in the effort to build.

Beautiful

We Love this fireplace! I haven't had a fireplace since I was 5, so this is the next best thing. Assembly was easy, I did it myself in about an hour. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn't necessarily heat up a room. We have a coffee table in between us and the fireplace and we can barely feel the heat. I feel that shouldn't be enough to block it, especially since our house is narrow. 5 stars otherwise! Everyone complements it and states they want one too, even those with a real fireplace.

By far our favorite piece of furniture in the house! Assembly wasn't that bad, instructions were fairly clear with a few confusing spots but other than that easy to follow. For the price it was great! It puts off decent heat and the fake flames are super relaxing to watch, furniture itself feels pretty sturdy. For me, this was worth every penny because I was able to fit a 65" flat TV on it instead of buying the bigger TV stand!

Love this shelf!

Love this shelf, the fireplace is "lit" from the time I get home to when I leave, it makes the room look nice and cozy. The shelf itself is classy looking. The instructions where good and easy to follow. The unit is very sturdy and solid. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy it again. The heater part of the fireplace is independent from the light and either on or off, which means the temperature does not adjust like with more expensive units, but since I bought it for the fireplace look that is inconsequential to me. Be aware the box is heavy!!! I was not able to lift it to take inside the house, instead had to open and remove pieces.

Very nice

We chose the gray wash and love it! While the assembly does take a little while, I love assembly and thought the pictures for directions were perfectly adequate. I'm still working on getting one of the glass doors adjusted so that the reveal is the same as on the other door. We got all of our equipment in it... 3 game consoles with accessories and all the games too. Looks very nice and husband LOVES the fireplace. It seems very sturdy and should last, all except for the finish, of course, which is just that very very thin layer of laminate sticker over mdf. But overall, for the price, we are very satisfied with our purchase.

End result looked great. Loved the fact you can turn on the fireplace without running electric heat option. Instructions were off @ step 1. Hole patterns were off and misleading in a few steps. My advise - if something does not look right in the steps, skip it, and the workaround will unveil in final assembly. This will save you on using extra blemish stickers beyond covering the cams.

Functional Barnhouse Chic

Item was delivered quickly. Packaging was sturdy and all pieces were labeled and neatly organized. The instructions were a bit vague. It was definitely a challenge to put it together. The material is solid and looked beautiful right out the box. I was super annoyed putting all the moving parts together but the finished product was absolutely stunning. The fireplace was the kicker. It is functional and pushes out good heat. Will definitely recommend it, but please review instructional pictures carefully. I am not sure I would do this again, but I am happy with the product. It looks awesome in the family room and compliments my modern farmhouse decor. Gave it four starts because the instructions were not clear.

I love the way this looks; I just hope it stays together. One of the side panels came with one of the holes in the wrong place. I requested a replacement part, but was told that only one piece couldn't be replaced and that I would have to take the 3/4 of the unit already put together apart and try to replace it in the original packaging to ship it back for an entire replacement. Ultimately, I got a small credit from Overstock for my trouble that basically compensated me for my handiness. I carefully drilled another hole - where it was supposed to be - and finished assembling it. One thing you will need to do is adjust the short support legs once fully assembled because it wants to lean forward a little from the weight of the doors and the fireplace unit - or at least mine did. But it tells you that you might want to do this in the last step of the instructions. A beautiful piece, but disappointed with having to "make it work" for this price.

Helps create an ambient room

This unit arrived ahead of schedule and in good condition! Was pretty easy to put together. It took my husband and I approximately 90 min to assemble. All the pieces were accounted for and in good condition. The unit is heavy (approx 100 lbs assembled) and seems very sturdy. It serves well as a tv stand, but it also looks lovely as a piece of furniture. The only disadvantage is the heater does not have variable heat settings. It only turns on and off. (However, you CAN run the logs without running the heat.) It heats a living room area adequately. Overall, I'm really pleased!

Perfect centerpiece for our living room

Purchased this on black Friday and am absolutely in love with it! I like that you can turn the fire flame on without heat if you want as the flame and heat are separate switches. The shelves are perfect for storage as well. The setup wasn't awful, just took a bit to put together. I would recommend this!
