NOT brass
The chrome spout is definitely not brass as description states. It is light as a feather and sounds like plastic when tapped on. Our old Moen spout feels much more solid than this supposedly higher end brand product. I bought it as a part of the shower system, did not look at the individual price, which at 30 bucks would have been a red flag. I am disappointed and worried about other parts of the system that are on the way...
I had to return as I needed a button - rather than smooth
