Exactly as described plus I bought open box and I guess previous person forgot an item in it so I received a little bonus. Lol

This box has slots in the inside cover for knives. The knives do not fit.

Beautiful box

This was exactly what I was looking for. It is a very sturdy box and it holds a flatware service for 12 plus an additional 5 piece utensil set.

Very disappointed! Inside of lid does not hold dinner knives as pictured. Unable to use to give my niece my Mother's silverware for her bridal shower.

The chest is beautiful and all my pieces fit. The handles on the side make it easy to carry. Bought one for me and one for my sister as a gift.

This is a beautiful and well-constructed flatware chest. I've been looking for one for a very, very long time for my 12 place setting flatware that I purchased back in the 80s and kept rejecting everything I saw until now.

Even nicer than Id expected. Appears to be well built, gorgeous rosewood appearance. Couldnt be happier for the price.

Did not fit the "butter" knives from my new flatware set. I made due, but if you have a big set don't buy this flatware holder. Disappointed.

Sigh...there's nonwaybto hold the butter knives in. They can only be displayed with the top up. Can't store them. They'll fall when the lid closes.

Clatter Trap!

This box is beautiful. I got all my pieces in to it and then came the KNIVES!!!!!There is NO WAY to secure the knives do the don’t clatter down onto the rest of the service pieces! I thought maybe I had not put them into the correct slot…. So I tried pushing it in with a little more force but it was RUINING the tip of my knife!! NOPE there are no slots for the bottom of the knives to set in. Super BAD DEDIGN! There is no room for the gravy ladle either as the bottom drawer is too shallow.

Not like the chests used to be be made

Given to a close family member as a gift. Their thoughts that although nice they were surprised that it was not a heavier chest. I hope it is sturdy enough to last and serve its purpose
