I didn't realize that it had toxic materials in it. I am thinking of returning it. I am looking into how to use it safely

Baxton Needs Better Quality Control

I’ve tried ordering multiple walnut headboards from Baxton and too many aren’t finished well. Even though I finally found one that looks decent, the others always arrived with stain sloppily applied. Overall, the one okay headboard is decent for the price, but I agree with other reviewers. The chemical smell is extreme and worrying with the formaldehyde warning. And the boards to attach the headboard are small for a queen size; if they were more substantial, the headboard would be sturdier.

I love the design, I would sh that the attachable wood legs were designed a little thicker and longer so that my euro pillows wouldn’t make the headboard look short.

Very flimsy thin wood. Not strong at all like it appears in the pictures. I have to have the bed over 3 inches away from the wall because there's so much flex. Really disappointed in this product.

Looks nice but it is flimsy

I had to use some of my own washers and nuts, but it worked out okay. The headboard is very flimsy and wobbles very easily. I imagine if a couple made whoopie, the headboard would continually slam against the wall during the process. I would not recommend this headboard. It does not touch the ground. It just bolts to the bed frame. It needs to be much thicker in order to be more sturdy.

It’s a great headboard for the price. A little flimsy - I added some felt pads to the back and pushed it up all the way against the wall to stabilize it. It’s not solid wood. The trim and legs are solid wood, and it has an MDF type material for the panels. Overall, it looks nice, but when you get close you can tell it’s a bit cheap, which is to be expected.

Love the Look

This is an awesome headboard for the price, however, I will say that it is not a unive4rsal fit for all bed frames. I had to order an adapter to affix it to my bedframe.

Affordable and the rustic I wanted.

It was great. Exactly what I wanted. I happen to order the wrong size and had to return it for the correct size. Same basic model. They were great.
