It is a beautiful solid executive office desk. There are 7 drawers which let you have plenty of space for your office supplies need. It is easy to install as long as you follow the instruction carefully. This desk is big enough for computer, phone and printer. We are very happy with this purchase. It is very heavy solid desk with good quality, we put floor pads under the legs in order to move around easily. HomeDepot has best customer service.

Good solid desk overall. Color is nice. Definitely a lot of parts at first but not hard to put together. Only down side is its not the quality I thought it was going to be.. theres some type of material between the slits in the front design of the desk. Those were already peeling back when I took it out of the box. Soft closed drawers would have been a nice feature too.

Extremely difficult to put together. One piece for the center drawer came cracked but we were still able to use it. The drawers were very difficult to fine tune in order to get them to open and close properly. The drawer on the lower left is still night right, but we have adjusted it as much as possible, so we will need to sand the bottom of the drawer in order to get it to close. Other than the miserable experience of getting it together, it looks nice.

This desk was tough to put together and took way longer than expected. The drawer for the top middle section did not come together as flush as I would have hoped. I don’t regret the purchase though. Solid wood and affordable. Nice color and it functions well. Good drawer space too.

Nice desk very heavy

I read a lot of the reviews and decided to purchase it. We are very experienced in assembly and from start to finish it took my wife and I about 4 hours from start to finish.

Beautiful desk, lots of room. I paid extra for it to be assembled. Took him 5.5 hours to do it. He could not get large drawers to go in correctly. He even came back next day to fix. All the hardware he put in is even. Anyways, it is still a gorgeous desk and I love all the space but that is why I didnt give it a 5.

Hard and time consuming assembly. Missing item

Beautiful desk, but it came damaged. We thought we could hide the ding so we started to put it together. 5 hours later and we realize it’s missing a piece. We contacted Sauder and they are sending a replacement which is good but now I have a half put together desk taking up space. Super time consuming to put together. We’ve done many ikea items so we thought we could do this. This is way worse and takes way longer!

This desk is very nice looking. The color is nice. But the material can be prone to scratches if bumped with sharp objects (with little pressure) so if you have kids or pets I wouldn’t recommend. Unless you are accepting of that risk and don’t mind touching up. Sauder easily replaces damaged material quickly and does have a warranty. Replacements can be ordered online. Pilot shipping delivered. I had to contact the shipping company to set up final delivery from closest warehouse. Signature is not required.

The desk is a nice size for our room. The materials it's made out of is press board (really cheap). We used the desk 10 times and the upper pull out drawer fell out and the material where the faulty screws went was damaged. I hired the professional installer to assemble the desk. Obviously, he did not fabricate the desk correctly. I need a new drawer and Wayfair will not honor any sort of warranty. We are beyond the 30-day warranty (5 months old now), but wouldn't you think a desk at $600 with $400 install would last more than 5 months? Go to a better desk supplier with warranties more in line with reality (1-year).

Please note that this desk does NOT have soft close drawers in spite of what the description says. I do like the desk. It has gray and light brown undertones. Very pretty and I love all the drawers. We were well aware that it would take a while to put together based on previous reviews. Maybe we were more methodical, but it took two of us about 8.5 hours to put together. We had one defective drawer part, but Sauder (manufacturer) was very helpful and prompt sending a new part. I am sad as I was expecting soft close drawers, and ordered this desk specifically to get soft close drawers. (So docking two stars off my review simply due to the false advertising/expectations, but wanted to make others aware.)

I saw a lot of complaints of putting the desk together. Yes, it took a few hours, but it is what would be expected since it comes in parts! I found directions to be very clear step by step. As for drawer complaints, I had no issues whatsoever. They work perfectly. I am super picky on quality and was very pleased with this desk. While it is not a real wood finish, the laminate used looks completely like real wood!! I was blown away by the finish detailing that makes it not only look like real wood, but also the surface to the touch feels like wood. The desk itself is super heavy and super solid. The desk top itself is a solid slab of 2 " thick wood. I would highly recommend this piece to anyone looking for a quality made desk. My only slight disappointment was that it was missing a piece, but when I called Sauder, they were very apologetic and shipped it out to me immediately.

Just received this desk and I love it. I put it together by myself. Yes, it took awhile but it was not the least bit frustrating and the instructions are not only clear, but are a bit humorous with little bits of comic relief embedded. Everything is clearly marked and the screws/bolts/etc are all organized in their own pouches. The rails for the drawers are easily adjustable. A couple didn't work well and with a twist of a screwdriver, wallah, it worked great! The only issue I had was the trim pieces for the back of the desk were too long, so I just eliminated them. This is Sauder, which I typically associate with being cheaply made, but it is really nice and heavy. Tip: as you unbox the cartons, put all the parts along the wall in alphabetical order - makes it so much easier! Now, a negative for Joss and Main: it was clearly stated that this desk was available for delivery in TWO days. Guess what? AFTER I purchased, it stated it would be shipped within in two days, but not to me! It would be shipped to their delivery team within two days, but arrival to them took about 3 weeks and then they had to schedule with me after that. I was super frustrated with that, but that isn't the desk's fault.
