I had been wanting to replace my disposal for some time. I decided on trying this one and I am glad I did. Super easy to install and powerful. It's not super quiet but not noisy either. Works very well for me.

A Lot of Features for the Money!

This is a great disposer at a very good price. I did a lot of research and this WasteMaid 458 beats Insinkerator and Moen that cost nearly twice the price. This disposer has a stainless steel grinding chamber and is well insulated so it is quiet. You have to spend a lot more on the other brands to get the stainless steel grinding chamber, full insulation, and the high torque, high RPM PMM magnetic motor. Additionally, it has the Bio Shield treated interior to guard against order and mold(not available in other brands). My plumber found it very easy to install.

had unit unstalled, which was very quiet running. recomment to others.

Great machine! An absolute must in my kitchen!

I installed my first 458 over five years ago, unfortunately it broke down. But I immediately but a new one since its hard to live without a food waist disposer once you gotten used to it. The 458 is powerful enough to take care of even the larger bones, such as t-bone etc. Only problem in that case is the noice and vibrations.

GREAT BUY FOR THE MONEY. STAPLES MATCHED THE BEST INTERNET PRICE. UNIT IS A GOOD HEAVY DUTY DISPOSAL. VERY EASY TO INSTALL. TEN WARRANTY...SO IT SHOULD LAST.

Waste Maid disposer 3/4 hp

Noticed package seemed extremely light for a 3/4 hp disposer. had to open to confirm it was right one. appears this and the GE unit are much lighter duty than the insinkerator, the cutter on customers last one broke off after 4 or 5 years use on this same brand so for ease replaced it with same. Theirs saw minimal use so probably would not recommend this unit in the future. Price was a lot cheaper than other brands for good reason. May last longer this time, it appeared casting on cutter was porous where it broke on previous one. guess it is an okay for the price purchase.

Super Quiet!

This disposal is so quiet, I thought it was not working right. It works great and is the quietest disposal I have ever heard. I highly recommend.
