Our basement was musty smelling

Unit did not work out of box. Customer service took several days to respond. Their first suggestion was to dismantle the unit and inspect the wiring. If I didn't want to do that I was to contact them for the return process. Very disappointing.

It works well until it Doesn’t

It works well until it Doesn’t. When it works Its grate. It then gets stock and goes on forever. The room temperature goes very high. You have to un-plug, wait for 30 second or more, plug it back, set the desired humidity and go. It will work well anywhere from 6 hours to 24 hours, it then gets stock and goes on and on and on.

New Home Now Smells Great!

Dehumidifier was bought for my home basement because we moved into a new home and there was a musty smell. Within two days the smell was gone. I love the alarm that lets you know its full. After the two days we switched it from high to the low setting and now we only have to use it when its been raining a lot or very high humidity. The smell never did come back. Its been 4 months now and am very pleased. I would recommend to anyone that has a basement.
