Too expensive for lack of quality.
This globe is far overpriced considering the lack of quality in the materials. It squeals and squeaks when rotated. The arm is made of a cheap plastic and looks it. The "hard wood" base looks and feels like plastic. I expected better for the $100 price tag. The light feature is very nice. It makes the globe details much easier to read.
