Squire padlocks are always good but I think the one it is replacing was better. The tumblers are slightly looser on this lot. This is why I have downgraded it by one star

Great padlock, quick and easy, weathers well. My 2nd one, the first is now +2 years and holds up well in the weather and not rusted or seized up. Needs some WD40 now and again, and when it is wet and freezing in the winter then bring inside and dry out so that water does not accumulate and freeze making it difficult to turn dials. Excellent quality, do not waste money on the cheaper ones they do not last as long as these.

There is something very wrong with these locks!! It actually broke whilst i tried to set the combination! When i returned it same day we took the other lock thatbwas instock and broke that one in exactly the same way.

Not Brilliant

One of two bought for our allotments gates failed completely within 3 months and had to be cut off so we could open the gate. The replacement is ok so far. The other gate is not used so much and the numbers jamb sometimes but we have always managed to free them up with graphite grease.

Good Lock

We have 2 of these locks that were bought.3 or 4 years ago and we use them daily , they are sturdy and well built easy to set up if you follow the instructions correctly. This one was bought in addition to the others as they are reliable all year round.

Quality Padlock

Excellent Product, having recently bought a cheap one from a DIY shop. Much more sturdy and the digital numbers are easy to work into place and to see.

Good all round padlock easy to change combination. We use these on all our sites we have purchased quite a few and only had one faulty after a year end was exchanged no problem. One customer now insists on only having this product after having poor quality ones in the past

Robust well designed

Initial impressions are this is a robust well designed combination padlock. The numbers are fairly easy to rotate so it's easy to use when in place. Changing combination is relatively easy once unlocked but does need a small Philips screwdriver. Time will tell how it stands up to being outdoors in all weather's but does have a makers guarantee too.

Not the average spin combo lock

Exceptional quality especially for this kind of lock. Heavy metal, precise mechanisms. worth the money. Just wish it take so long to get here from the UK.

Looks can deceive

Bought this lock as it appeared to tick all the boxes. However once I set it up and tested it, I discovered that it was a nightmare to fully lock as it needed a very strong push to get the button on the bottom to fully engage (two clicks). The lock might be ok for people with strong hands, but not a chance of my wife or daughter closing it.

This is a good outdoor multiuser padlock which we use for our allotment gate.
