Good as intended, mounting option suggested.

Good way to hide an auto key and most keyless fobs. Would like a more secure mount option than a magnet; like maybe a bolt with flush exposed head, and a mating hex (allen key) part inside the locked compartment.

Perfect for small, spare car key

Perfect for my really old car key. I keep a spare in here and stick it in the tire well. Perfect!Can’t use it for any modern car key. They don’t fit. I’d only it were half an inch deeper and half an inch wider.

DO NOT BUY - USELESS - ZERO stars!

I opened this box today. I literally opened the key case one time and it would not close. Not once.Yes, I have the code 000 where it is supposed to be. I looked up the manual online. I looked up a YouTube video. I called customer support which was useless, and asked for a supervisor callback. This was a gift from work and I can't just return it. I would rather have gotten nothing, then I wouldn't have wasted any time on this horrible product. Completely and utterly useless, terrible.

Plastic lock

This is a plastic lock. The lock seems fine if plastic works for you. It could be easily broken into, however.

Unable to reset lock

I purchased this item less than 6 months ago and I now am not able to reset it. This is very disappointing because it was working great until this happened. This is a product quality issue and this product should have never been brought to market with this flaw.

Don't buy these, poor quality and stick open

Second lock we bought and quality must have dropped. Had one for years and then it stuck open. Bought another one and in less than 10 uses, this one got stuck open. It won't close all the way!!!!

Issues with Stor-A-Key

I am curious if this is happening to anyone else. We thought that this would be a great option for our fleet vehicles and lockable storage areas. We purchased 10 units, and all seemed well, but we are getting cases that are now not closing properly, nor will the first wheel turn. One case was stuck in the fully open position. I would love to recommend this product, because it has such great potential, but until this issue can be sorted out, I am afraid I will have to decline.

I bought this lock and when I got home I followed the instructions to change the combination and now it won't work. This was a waste of money and all the company has to say is "try every combination from 000-999". That is pathetic

Can’t Open :( after third time using

I bought this for lockout key backup but I literally used it today for the third time and now it’s jammed and won’t close all the way. Also, my combo stopped working and it won’t let me reset it.

Gets locked, cannot reset

I tried to open the lock, the combo got scrambled, and now I cannot reset it. “Trying every combo from 000 to 999” is a ridiculous answer from the company of how to get the key out! Seriously? Would you do that? The product is excellent until it doesn’t work, then it’s useless. If this flaw were fixed I would buy ten of them. As it stands, I’ll look for something else.

Cannot get the reset tumbler to move at all.

Trying to reset combo from 000 and the reset tumbler will not rotate at all to line up with the 0’s.

Would have given 5 stars but the instructions do not explain if there's a reset pin thing that I can use to reset the combination I can't remember my combination ... hadnt used it after 2 years
