Works great, rusts easily

I've had this a little over 2 years. Seasoned properly and it rusted, stripped, re-seaoned and rusted again. I have to pretty much scrape and reseason it before each use. Stored in the storage bin on the side of my genesis, plan to try storing it inside. Really like it aside from the hassle of keeping it free of rust.

Much too heavy. Returned. Never used and dont know why we need it.

A griddle expands the utility of your Weber

Product is quite heavy and arrived well packaged. It is carbon steel and required seasoning, which was well explained, and there are numerous YouTube video demonstrations available. It fits nicely in the grates designed for the Weber Crafted accessories. My first use on the griddle was smashburgers, and they turned out wonderfully. Looking forward to more griddle recipes.

Easy to season! Best thing that happened to my Weber gas grill ever as far as non traditional grilling is concerned.

unfortunately does not work on weber s-435. Even though the specs say it does.. should be explained better

Rusts too easily

I definitely cared for this item. Stored it indoors, but it still will collect small bits of rust. I wouldn’t trust cooking on this as quality seems low.

Rusting after one month

Bought this griddle, seasoned it according to instructions, used it 3-4 times and it’s rusting already. Ridiculous, returning it today

Perfect Griddle

Perfect size for two people to use and made well.

I love that I now have the ability to flame broil a burger while still cooking sides and toasting bun before smashing it all together. Holds a full pound of bacon so just right for day to day use.

Satisfied

Works well. Adds a whole new element to my grill abilities. Has not rusted yet with very minimal prep and care.

Griddle rusts for second time

The griddle that came with my new Genesis grill purchase rusted on the cooking side. I tried to clean as instructed on the site and start over with the seasoning process, but that process did not work. I went a bought a brand-new griddle and started over. I again followed the seasoning process as noted online and in the instructions. Griddle looked great until I cooked on it once. We grilled steaks on it for the first cooking after the seasoning process and the seasoning came right off and now this second griddle is also rusting. I reached out to product support, and they asked me for pictures which I sent, and they basically follow up with another email that there is nothing wrong with their griddle and it is safe to cook on it. This is part of the reply we received. My understanding is that this product is made of Carbon Steel and does not have a porcelain coating on it or why would we have to season?

Love this griddle! I wish it was preseasoned. That was kind of a pain. However, it's so versatile and allows the grill to do so much more.

Almost Perfect

Excellent griddle! Level cooking surface!! The only improvement I could recommend would be to widen the waste discharge slot to make it easier to clear the grill when cleaning!! We have done burgers as well as shrimp and veggies!! Very useful to our style of dining!!
