Solid cart. Used it for gardening, moving and building electronics and computers. Sturdy. Easy to assemble but need a mallet and vasoline as parts fit snugly. Provides plenty to work space Overall would recommend.

Good but could be better

This is a pretty nice little cart for the money. The paper towel rod holds a roll of blue shop towels perfectly and the hooks at the other end work well for hanging things. Two of the wheels are on swivels and I opted to install mine at the end with the handle. When putting a cart like this together it is best to mock it up with the legs and shelves in place, loosely screwed together before you tighten everything down. As far as negatives, none of the wheels have locks on them, so it can move around on you, and the other improvement I would like to see is some more hooks, holes or other hardware to accomodate more storage on the sides of the cart.

Very sturdy . Easy assembly, should last me a lifetime. Quality is excellent, heavy material and quality wheels. What more could one ask for in this cart.

Handy tool cart. Easy to get around

Found a use as a shop cart working in different areas moving tools and parts around this is a great way to keep up with tools. Hold a good deal of weight with out becoming unstable.

This cart is nice and narrow if you need something small and extremely sturdy. It’s perfect for use in the classroom. I use it to transport student computers. It’s a good price as well.

Great carts. Extremely well built and engineered for ease of assembly. Only problem is the off gassing of the material they are made from. So bad I couldn’t even have the instructions in the house. Parked one of them at the opposite end of the attached garage and the odor is ever present. The other lives outside. It’s not a mild smell either it’s a eye, lungs and nasal irritant. Definitely not something you would care to be around for very long. Going to try to seal them with something like a polyurethane spray and see if they helps. So as far as quality it’s an A , living with it an F-. For Shop use only!

WEN Products service cart 40x17 500 pound capacity

The cart went together pretty easily as it seems like the manufacturer thought through how the product would be put together by the buyer at home. It helped that all the parts were actually there and everything fit, I wish this was the case with all the products I buy these days. The picture shows the cart as being grey but the one that was delivered was black, a surprise but I didn't really care which color I got. The cart moves pretty well over concrete floors and seems sturdy. I can't comment on the weight rating from experience as I haven't put much in it, I bought it to carry tools and materials around inside and outside my home as I do work not move heavy stuff, for that I would use a movers dolly. I think it would take the rating of 500 pounds if the weight was evenly distributed, but I don't think you want to go over floors with potholes with that kind of weight in it, as I'm not sure a wheel would not take that kind of abuse. It seems there is always something to repair in this 120 year old building and it helps to be able to have a way to transport tools around directly to where the work is to make repairs easier. It's not always easy to generate enthusiasm for yet another repair project so anything that makes the job easier is worth using. After I put the cart together and was waiting to get started with an exterior painting project I needed a spot to clean and rebuild a dirt bike carburetor and this cart was there already prepared for use with a layer of Kraft paper in the bottom so it's first use was not what I envisioned it for when I bought it, however it worked well and with the top surface surrounded by a rim no tiny parts fell off and rolled into an inaccessible place! Originally I wasn't going to put the handle on in order to save space but during assembly realized that the legs hold the handle in place and it would be a hassle to put it on later so on it went, and with that nifty cup holder in the handle It's a better cart with the handle on even if it adds a few inches top the length.

Great cart. Well built and sturdy. The towel bar can easily be removed which you may or may not like. Perfect for mobilization of hand tools and things around the shop without having to go back and forth to the bench. I should have bought one years ago.

Great little cart. Solid and easy to put together. Surprised how sturdy it is, no thin metal to bend and get scratched up. I've got it loaded up with about 250 lbs right now and can easily move it around the garage. Would buy again and recommend to a friend or neighbor.

I work with acids and have been looking for a plastic cart like this for a long time. It has a deep well so if anything spills it will keep it contained. It allows me to move work from one part of the shop to another without worry that I could slip and drop it. It is perfect and the price is extremely reasonable considering the quality of the material and overall product. I plan to buy 1 or 2 more in the next few months.

It is recommended that swivel casters be installed on all four corners if cart is to be wheeled in a tight turning area. Also, be very careful tightening the carriage bolts as the square shoulders of the steel bolts will turn in the square holes in the plastic rounding them out and they will need to be replaced with machine bolts.

I absolutely love this cart. I do a lot of projects around the house, and a lot of woodworking or construction projects in the driveway. I used to make a million trips back to my work bench and back to where I was working. Now I can load up the cart with everything I think I need and bring it out. I easily have 200 pounds on there and it's nice and stable. My favorite part is the trays near the handle. Second best part is the lower shelf has a perfectly flat surface. Others in this class have bolts or nuts that stick up reducing the flat area. Two nice surprises I didn't notice before buying are the bar that hangs below the handle, and on one edge of the top tray is a ruler etched in. Nice for a rough spot check on something. This was known, but still a nice thing is the hooks built in for hoses or cords.

Cart is smaller then online description

The online description of the is cart is misleading, the shelf's are only 30 x 16 inches and they can only hold 250 lb's each or a total of 500lb's, The size 40 x17 stated online comes from a 10 tray that is added to one end of the cart, where the missing 1 comes from I do not know. The cart isn't very sturdy as I wish the connecting pliers use only 1 bolt and three short machine screws to connect the top and bottom trays together. Time will tell if this cart stands up to being used to move 4 gallon water bottles or 24 bottle cases of water from my car to my house. The loads should be under 200lb's

I didn't realize I needed a utility cart until I actually owned one! When I first saw this cart, I thought it would be perfect for my wife to use when setting up her art exhibits. Using a cart like this would cut the number of trips she would have to make by at least half. After I put it together a neighbor asked my to help them with a project they were started; they needed my wide crown pneumatic stapler. Normally, I would load up the car & drive two or three houses down the street. With this cart I could bring it write into my workshop, load it up & take down the street - big time saver. I also noticed it is narrow enough to get around my car in the garage.
