Purchase With Caution

This kettle heated and boiled water very quickly. Was not hot to the touch. Has a nice look on my countertop. The only problem that does not deserve a five rating is that the tab that is pressed to starts the kettle is easily flipped on by a slight bump or touch from someone or another object on the counter. That happened often. In fact on a recent morning I was ready pour water in to start the kettle. No water had been inside but it continue to heat due to being accidentally flipped on at some point. I think my son was in the kitchen earlier preparing his breakfast and didn't realize the kettle was on although there is a bright blue light indicating water is boiling. It was ruined,

Electric Kettle

Great appliance! Much lighter than my last kettle. Very fast, clicks itself off after boil. Easy to pour. Great price & value. Next, I'll order a new toaster from this company.

Cute, small and attractive, but it smells quite plasticish when hot. I don't tast the plastic, but the smell continues to be quite strong after a good number of uses.
