Works well but needed more information

These lights are a little on the expensive side but they work well and were straight forward to install. I purchased them because we already had this brand installed in our kitchen and I thought I could add these lights to the existing transformer - I was wrong. Turns out that the existing lights that were purchased 5 years ago are 24 volt AC and the conversion to DC occurs in the light tape itself while these new lights are 24 volt DC. This information was nowhere to be found on the website and when I asked via the chat link I was told they would work on the existing 24 volt AC transformer. Ended up having to buy a new 24 volt DC transformer. If I had known all this in advance I would have considered cheaper options. Now that it is done, I am ok with how it turned out.
