Light is great, the 4000k is closer to a 5k but I prefer the warmer look of the led. I used this to replace a 8ft fluorescent, it is quite a bit smaller but produces a lot more light. It came with most of what was needed to install. My only complaint is the knockout was welded on and did not want to come off. I was installing using EMT and had to cut out the knockout.

Works great but…

I now have three of these lights in my garages but I must still say buyer beware. These lights are incomplete. The instruction manual lists optional accessories, which I did not see in the store - the accessories should be next to the lights. The lights DID NOT include:

I was impressed by this light by the light output. Given the smaller size of the fixture I was expecting significantly less light output. Installation was quick and easy, roughly 15 minutes. The different knockout locations make it versatile in where and how to mount. I would definitely recommend this light and might even use more to finish out my garage. This light is BRIGHT, don't be deceived by it's small size!

This high bay light delivers on all fronts. It is bright, easy to install, long lasting, and energy efficient. It is dimmable and can be wired to an occupancy sensor for even greater savings. It is recommended for ceiling heights from 10 to 40 feet, but if your ceiling is less than 10 feet this fixture still does a fantastic job of flooding the area with bright light. I mounted it in my wood shop at just under 9 feet and it easily illuminates 225 sq ft of floor area at this height!

I am impressed by the amount of light that this fixture emits. It is lightweight, so it is easy to hang from any ceiling, although they didn't include any mounting hardware. It would have been nice if they included the brackets or hooks (or both) necessary to mount the light. The instructions explain several installation options, but honestly, I just need a simple option to mount to my garage ceiling. Providing the brackets would have saved me a trip back up to Home Depot. The wiring couldn't be easier. There is a silver access panel on the back that is secured with one screw. Inside are the live, neutral and ground wires needed to wire it. I connected a plug to mine so it can be plugged directly into a switched outlet in my garage.

Once you install an LED light unit in place of another type lighting unit you will appreciate the overall brightness and money-savings vs the older unit. This is my third high bay unit and there is no comparing the LED with the older bulbs. This unit (like the others) is 'dimmable'. It should be mounted high so the light 'footprint' is wide and long. It is well built, a bit heavy (two people make the install easier), and very easy to wire. ...especially if you DO NOT wire it for dimming capability. I mentioned that this is the 3rd unit I've installed and they replaced 12 of the old, two bulb 4 foot fluorescent units. Great value and I'm not climbing a ten foot ladder to replace bulbs every year or two! Also, the can be placed in damp locations and respond immediately, even in cold weather.

The 83 watt white integrated high bay light fixture is my kind of light. It is compact at only two foot and is lightweight so one person can install it where they want it. It is ready to use with very few optional parts. The light is made to be suspended using the hanger holes or using one of several accessory hangers. The electrical connections are easy and there are complete instructions on various ways to hang and wire the unit. The light is extremely bright at 12000 lumens and yet compact. Light up where you want with this easy install LED light fixture.
