Purchased this Beautiful Birdhouse for a friend’s Christmas present. She saw the picture and to my knowledge she doesn’t have a clue she’s getting it. It is well built and appears to be very sturdy. Wish I could find a mounting platform like yours in the picture

Beautiful house. nice and large and I am looking forward to having it in my garden this spring I like the stones at the base that add a touch of realism to the house. It is currently wrapped asit is to be a Christmas present.

Stay Away

Stay Away from this birdhouse as other reviewers have said. It's been less that 2 months (march 3rd to April 10th) and already is falling apart. Definitely not made to withstand outdoor conditions. Of course it starts falling apart after the return period.

We’ve had rain for several days and now the bird house looks like this! We would like a full refund and a new birdhouse! I bought from Wayfair based on the quality of their products. May or may not order from here again. Depends on customer service.

We ordered this particular Star Barn because of its attractive design. It was to be a nice addition to our birdhouse collection, in the back yard. After being mounted on a 4X4 post in the yard for just 1 week, the thin black shingles that were attached to the roof with a thin strip of tape with inadequate adhesive were falling off. I have already picked up a handful of shingles that have separated from the roof.

Roof Defective

I received this bird house as a Christmas gift. I installed it outside about 4 weeks ago. The roof tiles are already buckling and the ridge caps are completely loose. I foresee that I will have to take the roof off and replace it with more substantial materials. You should probably source this product from someone else to get better quality. It's certainly not worth the price my gift benefactor paid.
