NOT bone china
I purchased this set because of the comments on the site saying that this was bone China and my sets arrived and they are NOT Bone China. It clearly states on the bottom of the China that they are porcelain. Porcelain is not bone China. Bone China would be deemed as the more elevated, nicer China. This is not bone China.

We love this pattern (got it for our wedding) and was so excited to finish out our set but was so sad to find out that the new ones are not Bone China anymore! Apparently Lenox is doing new production in porcelain… please remove the term “bone China” from the listing header so consumers are more aware of this major change. As much as I love this pattern, we will be sending ours back.

I returned the item. I purchased it based on the description that it was bone china. However. the package was labeled as porcelain.
