This set of dishes will be our Christmas collection - it was well-packed and has an understated elegance with the slim gold band. The porcelain is substantial and not too thin or fragile. I purchased two sets to assure I have an adequate number for our multi-course Christmas Eve dinner. A very affordable lovely set.
