Beautiful took about an hour and a half for my husband and I to put it together

This desk looks really nice and modern. My only complaint is that it is difficult to assemble the drawer, wish there were better instructions.

While its a beautiful desk, putting this item together was quite a challenge. Instructions were not very clear and once I figured out everything, I noticed that screws did not fit in the hole correctly. Either the hole was not made big enough or not deep enough for the screw to go in. This end up having me to force it to go and now i have a small hole at the top of the desk due to the pressure i had to put on the desk to get the screw to go in.
overall okay
Product look better on pictures then in real. Issues with assembly, some parts are to large for pre-drill spaces and pushing them in may (will) damage your product. . . Not recommended as a first time project. . . Overall, assembled desk looks okay. Good deal for the money.
New office desk
Putting it together brought back my Ikea nightmares - but with the help of my son, we were able to put it together with only 1 extra part (???) It looks nice and is functional and overall I like it. :-)
Nice piece but...
actual dimensions aren't as stated online. Depth is 21+" and didn't fit in the room as well as planned.
Package when it arrived
It looks like the picture and scale of it is very nice. However who ever packs the box needs to be arrested or who ever is in charge of quality control should be shot. There were scratches and dents in the wood that were noticeable. I had to use touch paint where I could. The dark grain middle drawer looked like some one took a knife to it. Lucky for me when the door is closed you don't see the scratches.
Oh this writing desk is great! perfect space to put your paper and writing utensils for safe keeping...
