Bigger than expected but blend nicely with furniture and because bigger I have more confidence in it. Firstly didn't notice much difference but i can say it works great in rooms where is a little air flow or is too many people or cooking smell. For aroma smells best use citronella essential oil as it is stronger compared to lemon or other citrus essential oils.

Small and quiet as advertised perfect as a bedside purifier.

Headaches are gone.

I work from home at a desk off of kitchen. That corner stays full of dust. I’m frequently cleaning dust from my desk and monitors. My working hrs are usually 8-10 hrs M-F, and sometimes up to 4 hrs on weekend. This required a big chunk of my time. I was experiencing nightly sinus headaches prior to purchase. I have 3 different brands, total 4 air purifiers placed in living room, bedroom and in a bathroom, before this one. I noticed improvements in sneezing each time I bought an air purifier. Therefore I deducted I needed a unity at /close to my work desk. I tend to really prefer ones with ion technology that makes the dust fall from the air on to the floor. UV light is great, but not required for me. This one can be placed corner of my desk to fit my needs perfectly. The option for aromatherapy was very desirable. I didn’t connect my headaches with my work station because they were at night. All I know is after 2 days of running the TotalClean desktop air purifier, my night-time, nightly headaches are gone.

Good portable purifier for overnight visits

As described, the box was damaged but the purifier perfect. I bought this as a portable machine (I have the large HEPA 5 in 1s for home) and it was tested after only a few days. It coped surprisingly well with ward bay larger than 11 m2, and took the level of my allergen down to a level mostly dealt with by antihistamines. Very glad I had it, made a difference in my symptoms from the last time I was admitted.

Good impact for a smallish room

Quality piece of kit, good size for a small room, easy to use. Whilst I feel it has genuinely improved the air quality, my only downside is there is no way to show it is actually working - my Dyson has an air quality reading - would be good to add that as a feature. But as I say, I feel it certainly is helping.

Can't be without it

I have noticed that there is much less dust in the room and the air does seem to be clearer. Only thing l am disappointed in is the oil fragrance does not seem to come thru it.

I received this as a gift during fire/smoke season last summer.I’ve kept it on in my childrens room since the summer, and I have noticed that it does help regulate little kid stinks.I have 2 complaints about it though….1 there is no way to turn off those super bright lights on the top of the machine.I have cloth taped down over the lights to dim them.Seriously, those2 little lights are bright enough that you don’t need a flashlight to navigate a dark room.2 finding a replacement filter wasn’t easy to find.Why doesn’t Homedics have replacement filters on Home Deliveries USA?I’ve had to buy the Home Deliveries USA ones, so hopefully they are of good quality.

2 worked, 1 did not

I am a classroom teacher, so I purchased 3 of these air purifiers for my classroom. Two of them worked. One, out of the box, did not. I am waiting to hear from customer service to get a replacement.

Not what I expected

I thought this would be smaller when it said desktop. It takes up as much room as my laptop. On the plus side, it's quiet and does a great job.

As the title states, I love this air purifier! It’s solid and great quality. I have 4 furry pets so the HEPA filter was a godsend! It’s quiet and you can tell that the air is cleaner after a few days of using it daily. It has an ion button to aid with the purifying and an indicator light for when it’s time to change the filter. It has three different settings low, medium and high. When it’s on high it is not loud at all and doesn’t overpower the tv. And lastly, it comes with an essential oil slot with pads to put your essential oils on to make your room smell however you want! The only con is it should have a remote.
