The light was rather easy to install. Since, I have plaster walls and, my junction boxes were a, little more recessed into the wall, I had to use the, bracket from both the old and the new light to make it fit. Having an adaptor would be helpful .

You get what you pay for, cheaply made. Husband threaded the nut to glass post it cracked. Not stable, bracket wobbles on base. Not recommend.

This light fixture is excellent! I have been trying to replace all the craptatic oil rubbed bronze junk that the previous owner put in my house with period-appropriate lighting for my 1960s home. I purchased this one for above a half bathroom vanity and it is just perfect. Tons of character and cheaper than I could go buy one at an antique store. Looks light it was always there; if you're in search of a patterned u-channel bathroom fixture, you can't go wrong with this.
