Pet gate
Easy to set up
Works but not completely stable
I set up this gate at the bottom of my staircase. It says up to 39" I needed it to 38" and thought i had some room to stabilize it. However the screws were stretched completely to the end of the wall with no stability. I had to add some cardboard for now to stabilize it till I get some small wood planks.
Need to drill endcaps into wall for stability
Great if you are willing to drill into your walls. Our pet isn't the type to run at the gate or try to climb it, this worked fine for us without that step. Would not really recommend to skip drilling the endcaps into the wall since that is what stabilizes it without sliding along the walls. Also the opening is very narrow and awkward for anyone with a wide gait to step through. Not a good choice for anyone with a mobility aid.

It keeps her out of the kitchen - serves its purpose!
Flawed design
This gate will not stay unless tight but when it’s tight the door will not open.

Too small
I measured the space and it was 49in. Which is why I decided to buy this. It doesn't fit. Almost had to max out the sides and make it diagonal just so it could semi fit. Other than that the entire gate itself isn't 49in. It's smaller. Don't waste your time. I regret buying this and will send back.

I need someone to put it together. But, all parts look sturdy.

Easy install and works perfect! I do wish the opening was a wider, difficult to carry items such as laundry baskets through.
