I love these shutters!

I stained these easily and they were easy to hang. I’m getting many compliments and everyone thinks they are real cedar.

Replacement Shutters

The only disappointing thing about these replacement shutters, is that i expected a heavier composite material, more like that of composite decking or fencing material. They are a little on the lighter side, and fell somewhat foam'ish.

I love these shutters! I added S hooks and shutter dogs (plastic, painted with metallic spray, and glued on), which gave them just the look I wanted. I've gotten many compliments on them. I can't speak to the installation, as I had the guys who sided the house install them. There were no complaints, though, and they have held up well (for almost a year now). They look enough like wood that the installers were worried that they would be too heavy (they're actually very lightweight). The only thing I have noticed is that I will have to repaint them this summer. They are a yellow-ish material, so I sprayed them with several coats of white Rustoleum paint. They looked great, but I am starting to see some of the yellow peeking through. Probably more of an issue with the paint than the shutters, but they do seem to soak up the paint. I couldn't be happier with the shutters and the way they have completely transformed my house.

Product warped badly after only a few months

Don?t buy these if you expect them to stay straight. We sealed and painted them and they still curled up badly. I don?t do reviews but in this case I had to.
