[Rewarded Review] Very nice stacked washer dryer

I have been very happy with the Electrolux 300 laundry tower. The washer and dryer are large capacity, but the overall size of the unit is manageable. Despite being large and heavy, the unit was pretty easy to move into place, and the initial setup was very easy as well. The controls are easy to use and efficient. The only negative would be some of the wash and dry cycles seem longer than other units I have used. Overall the clothes are clean and this seems to be a well designed product.

HORRIBLE UNIT AND SERVICE

WE HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIECNE WITH THIS UNIT, IT DID NOT WORK FROM DAY ONE. ELECTOLUX SENT A UNIT OUT THAT HAD A BROKEN IGNITOR FROM THE FACTORY, AFTER MAKING 3 REPAIR VISITS, THEY REPLACED THE IGNITOR, ONLY YO HAVE THE UNIT MAKE A RATTLING NOISE SO LOUD YOU COULD HEAR IT FROM OUTSIDE. WHEN I CALLED IT IN, THEY REP TOLD ME THATS NORMAL! AFTER HOLDING THE PHONE UP IN MY LIVING ROON, 3 ROOMS AWAY FROM THE UNIT, HE AGREEED NOT NORMAL. THE REP THEN PROCEEDED TO DIAGNOSIS THE UNIT OVER THE PHONE AND ORDERED 6 PARTS THAT NEEDED REPLACXED. NOT SURE HOW HE KNEW OVER THE PHONE, WAITED WEEKS TO COME IN, HAD THE PARTS INSTALLED THE REPAIR MAN LEFT 5 MINS LATER THE NOISE CAME BACK BUT LOUDER. THIS HAS BEEN OVER A 3 MONTHE PERIOD THEY SENT A DIFFERENT RAPAIR MAN OUT HE MADE A RECOMMENDATION, THEY ARE NOW TELLING ME THEY DO NOT WARRANTY NOISES. IHAVE A UNIT THAT WE CAN NOT USE AND HAVE NOT EVER DRIED 1 LOAD OF LAUNDRY IN THEY IWLL NOT REPAIR. IN TOTAL THEY HAVE REPLACED 9 PARTS OVER $1700.00 FROM BILLS SAW AND NOW WILL NOT REPLACE OR REPAIR UNIT.

I really like the extra space you now have with the tower. Lots of great features. I really like the 15-Minute Fast Wash & 15-Minute Fast Dry feature. It helps me when I forget to wash the night before. I like the extra-large capacity the washer and dryer can hold. I like the reversable door feature, since we had to switch the door opening. The extended fresh is nice, because I tend to forget I threw a wash in.

When our old side by side washer and dryer gave out, we went shopping! There are so many brands and models to choose from and we really weren’t sure what we wanted. We finally decided we wanted a stackable, but now, which brand? Thankfully the appliance expert at the store we were in recommended 2 brands, one of them being Electrolux. Comparing the 2, we decided that the best value for our needs was indeed Electrolux and have been very happy with this decision.

The gas Electrolux Laundry Tower in white. It is beautiful and has stainless steel tubs. Can not get a better laundry space. It is not a stacked washer and dryer but rather one combined tower that offers a full-size washer and dryer. The tower is very stable. The steel tubs on both the washer and the dryer are very large and can easily hold a king size comforter and blankets with no problem.

I am happy with the washer dryer. It helps to save space because the dryer is on top of the washer. It is easy and simple to use. I'm able to fit a large amount of clothing in both the washer and dryer. It does a great job of quickly washing and drying clothes with the 15 minute fast wash and dry feature. Unlike my previous washer dryer, this one is ENERGY STAR Certified, so it helps me save money on my electricity bill every month. Additionally, this washer dryer set has an amazing feature called Extended Tumble that keeps my clothes tangle free. I would recommend this washer dryer set to others.

We recently got the Electrolux stacked laundry center to replace our almost 10 year old front load set. It finally seems like our clothes are getting clean again! The control panel is super simple and easy to use. If you make any adjustments to the preset cycles, it will even save those adjustments when you select that setting subsequent times (for example, if you change the water to “cool” on the Normal cycle, the next time you go to select that cycle it will already be set on cool). However, I do wish there were a few more preset cycles on the washer, such as “hand wash” or “wool”. The dryer spins out the clothes incredibly well to the point where the clothes are just barely damp to the touch. However, this comes at a cost as it is very loud and sounds like an airplane taking off. I was shocked that there was no washing machine filter to clean as there was in my old machine. This is convenient, one less thing to do, but I hope the machine doesn’t get moldy or stinky since it doesn’t have a filter. Overall this is a great space saving machine and seems to be priced well for what it offers.

My Electrolux 300 tower replaced an aging pair of stackables. The performance of the new set is stellar. I can wash and dry a small load in 30 minutes but it also packs the deep cleaning power to handle heavy blankets and cat beds.

Since moving into my house many years ago, I have always hated my laundry room. It literally only was wide enough for my washer and dryer. It's been my dream to have a stackable unit, but hard to find one that has a gas dryer. We finally decided to take make the splurge and buy the Electrolux 300 series Laundry Tower. I can't tell you how much we love it. The washer cleans so well at getting my clothes clean. With my old washer, my dark clothes would always have lint and other things left on them, but not any more. There are so many settings to choose from, and I love that it has a delayed start. The height of the dryer is perfect for moving the wet laundry into also! I just can't explain how much I love this combo. All the extra space in our laundry room has inspired us to remodel the whole room.

So far, I am liking the Electrolux Laundry Tower a lot. It is simple to use. It effectively washes and dries all of the different clothes put in them. It is more energy efficient than my previous washer and dryer set. And it is quieter than my previous set. All in all, I am happy with my purchase.

I just received the laundry machine this weekend and it’s the second cycle of clothes that I am washing. Super easy to use.. you just select the temperature, the type of soil and the spinning cycle. There is option to use powder or liquid detergent, bleach and softener and also a stain treatment, each one goes in a separate compartment of the drawer. The normal cycle is only 45 minutes. There is option to do extra rinse or extended refresh. In the dryer, you can select level of temperature, dry level, dry time up to 75 min. There is also a wrinkle release feature or an extended tumble. There is also a dry boost feature. The machine is not noisy. So far, I am really satisfied with the laundry machine.

This product delivery was a huge fiasco due to two defective dryers delivered and a lack of good/respectful communication related to the delivery time/date. Six days after our order was placed we noticed that the status on the website changed to, 'out for delivery tomorrow between 7am to 7pm'. We rearranged our work schedules so that someone would be home, as we both work 9a-6p. At about 1:30 the driver called to say that he would be at our home in 30 minutes, he showed up 20 minutes later. So much for respect of our time we had a very short window of time. In any case, they removed a working washer and dryer and installed the new ones. The installers tested both units and the dryer would not turn on. So, they removed both new units, and reinstalled (improperly) the original units. I was told that I would have to reorder my appliances. Wayside quickly issued a store credit. We reordered the same units and 10 days later the same routine repeated - no notice - but we saw on the website that it would be delivered the next day between 7am and 7pm. We attempted to completely rearrange our work schedules again, not easy. Then at about 2pm, the driver called to say that he would be at our home in 15 minutes and that he would wait no more than 15 minutes. This was a very difficult situation as we both work 20-30 minutes from home. I dropped everything at work and dashed home. The drivers were efficient and repeated the entire process of removing the original appliances and installed the new ones. Again, the dryer wouldn't turn on, even though the dryer that they removed had no power issues. This time I acquiesced that it must be an issue with the power in our home. I accepted delivery of a non-working dryer. Our handyman came the next day and spent over an hour troubleshooting potential power issues in our home and could find none. He called Electrolux, and they were of no help. He then Googled this dryer model and found several posts related to defective dryers being delivered. The issue was a factory QA issue related to incorrect interior wiring of the ground. He watched a YouTube tutorial and fixed it in a few minutes! Whew! No more appliances for us from Wayside, it seems they heavily rely on factory delivery through a third-party. PS-these units are not quiet - the increased noise from our original appliances is 100%. I thought I did my research, too.
