It is nearly impossible to install this light and insure that all the wiring is actually inside the electrical box. Also very hard to install by yourself. It’s really a two person install. The directions say that it should be installed by licensed electrician. If true why is it being sold in the biggest DYI store in America? Once installed it’s a very good light fixture with adjustable tones to the light.

Simple to install, bright light

Over time the old Fluorescent 4' fixtures in our basement have failed. I've replaced each with an LED fixture like this one as they go out.

Bright, love the color temperature. These fixtures are sturdy but light so that makes them much easier to install. I have installed these in 2 garages and the mechanical room in my house. The lighting is very even and consistent with no filtering of some LED lights and certainly of florescent lights.

the light is fine but I cant get the cover on. it has 2 covers one inside that is impossible to put on. Its sill sitting in my Garage. the outside cover could be possible to get on but, I will need another person to help........ right now its kind of hanging there half on and half off.

The light is excellent. I reduced one star because there were no instructions in the box; had to scan QR code to get them and then they were incomplete. In addition to the normal white, black and neutral wires there were two others; I'm guessing for dimming but there was no mention in the instructions.

I really like the light fixture and it’s cool that you can change settings.But I didn’t realize that it did that when I ordered it so the only way to change the colors is to get up on the ladder and do it. It should automatically come with a remote and directions how to do it, That would have made it perfect!

After finally giving up the ghost, our very old fluorescent fixture no longer worked. It was replaced with this similar sized led fixture. It did require some time to install and needs two people due to its length. But boy, what a wonderful difference. Offers several light modes, all are bright and clear.

Well constructed. Configured to easily mount for a new install, or to replace an older fixture. The light is exceptionally well diffused. On the old florescent fixture, you could see each light tube -- this unit the light emitts evenly across the whole fixture. Very pleased.

Phenomenally weak installation instructions

Confronted with two extra wires - pink and purple. For what purpose? Nothing stated in the instructions. Finally ascertained the purpose by searching online - they are for dimming. Not a concern for me but why does this information have to be obscure+ And if I did want that function what then: connect them to what?

No directions in box. When I scan the QR code to get directions the directions did not say where to hook the pink and purple wire. Had to google it to find out it's for a dimmer.

Bright enough light

The light is bright enough, though choosing 3000K color temperature leads to loss of brightness.

This is a very nice ceiling light. I replaced a 4 bulb fluorescent light fixture. This new fixture is a LED with adjustable color and brightness. It is as bright as the old fixture on the lowest setting. Very light and easy to install and looks great. I would highly recommend it.

Good Light Bad Instructions

The light is easy to install and works great. The instructions are non-existent and they do not mention part of the wiring at all. There are two small wires, I will call them pink and purple. Unless you are setting up the special dimming system they are not used in wiring the light. I just unplugged them. They are not required for standard installation. On one of the videos it says to put a wire nut on each when not used, that is the only mention anywhere in any of the instructions.

This is a new to market very nice looking 4' overhead LED. On the unit controls include 3 Lumen levels and 3k, 4K, 5K color levels.
