It worked exactly as stated and was an ease to install (once I found the studs…16” off center my behind) but the wall is great. The hooks and baskets move with ease and support everything so far. I haven’t tested the 75lb limit yet but have easily gone up to 40lbs on a hook and the wall didn’t flex or buckle. I’d like to get more but the cost is a bit high, if they offer a 25% or 35% off I’d take it.

Really cool walls

So I bought these and ran them across the garage wall on an entire one side and then in between the windows on the other side. I decided to run 3 consecutive 8x4 walls, so the one side became a 24 foot long 4 foot high slat board wall. It looks great. My only complaint and why I gave this a 3 star is that they came with noticeable streaks/scratches and I couldn’t tell if it was a warehouse issue, manufacturer issue, or someone installed them before. Either way I installed them and they look fine

Did I get a lemon? Or there is QC issue

Expect to get it install in 1 hour, 3 hours into it, I had to walk away from it to calm myself down.

A Garage MUST HAVE!

I’ve been using ProSlat Panels and accessories for over eight years in five different locations. The installation process is rather easy, with the key to success being a solid base track and ensuring level and plumb as you build the wall. With the plethora of different mounting options, you can organize pretty much anything. I’ll continue to use ProSlat as long as I have a garage or a space needing organization!

I followed the install instructions and the install was simple. I only had one issue and that was that one slat was about 1/2 too long. Easily fixed with a saw. I have only had it a few weeks, but it is holding various tools of size and weight with no issues. Adding additional hooks and accessories is simple and it has made a big difference in my ability to organize a lot of things that did not have their own space.

Cheap coated plastic has lines from manufacturing

Looks good in the pictures? Right?

Super easy install and polished look!

We purchased two 4'x8' packages and stacked them to finish with an 8'x8' wall. Once I established where the 2x4's were and marked them, the install was very smooth. The look of the finished product install is very nice. It's a nice polished look that enhances the tidy look we were looking for in the garage. Very happy we choose ProSlat!

I'm actually supremely disappointed with the Proslat wall. I had such high hopes. The manufacturing was subpar for the price point. My main complaint is the two long border pieces were clearly 3/4 inch too short. That is a HUGE problem when you're trying to hit 16" centers at the ends. There doesn't seem to be any tolerance if the framer of your home was off on the stud spacing by even a little. It doesn't feel particularly durable either, but time will tell. The hooks and attachments are also quite expensive.

Great way to organize

I looked at many different products to organize the garage wall. I chose ProSlat for a couple features others did not have: 8 ft pieces so I did not have so many seams, full wall coverage so shovels and other tools would not damage the drywall, infinite adjustability. Shipping was prompt. Customer support is excellent. This system holds a lot of stuff and really cleans up a garage nicely. I actually ordered a double kit for the west wall (16' x 4')and then ordered a single kit for the east wall (8' x 4'). This way all my hangers are interchangeable. Very happy with my decision to go with ProSlat.

Nice looking slatwall

I've ordered and just recently installed two 4x8 proslat panels to cover one wall in my garage. Installation is pretty easy, the side trim gives enough room for play so you don't have to be exact. My main concern was two outlets that I'd have to accommodate (didn't know I'd be putting up slatwall until after drywall and outlets). However, the PVC material cuts really easily with an oscillating tool with the flat cutter blade, so you can easily trim until you get a good fit. I purchased some third party hooks and they seem really solid in the wall. Looks very neat and clean! My only complaint is that the panels are shipped without any bubble wrapping to keep the panels from rubbing on each other (there are some scuffs) or protection from impacts. My package had three cracked panels where it looked like someone dropped one end of the package from some height. However, I contacted ProSlat and they sent me replacement panels within a week, very impressive considering it's close to Christmas.

Looks great on the wall

The product was easy to install. Anyone can easily install this. Even a novice like me this is a DIY item. Just needs the right tools. Primarily an Impact driver and not a drill! Need and Impact driver as a drill did not help and is very painful to do with and damages the screw head. Since the screws are long. The drill bit provided with the slat wall purchase was not the best and I had to buy a separate one. Apart from these small glitches the product was great and was easy to install by myself.

It warps!

I spent over $3000 covering my garage walls with these slats and they looked amazing. Friends came by to admire, my stuff was organized and more importantly, off the floor. However, after five months, the plastic started to warp. Keep in mind, I screwed all the slats as instructed, on every stud, each 16" apart. The bikes hanging on the wall started warping the plastic that the hook was hanging from. It wasn't just the steel bike that was problematic, even my super light bike that even my six year old daughter can pick up was causing the plastic to warp. The shelves that was holding 20 several snowboard boots warped the slates that they were hanging from. Shelves holding lighter items did not warp, but this is a garage, so I expect shelves to handle a reasonable amount of weight without problems. I would not recommend this Proslats if you are looking to hold bikes, or moderately heavy items.

Took a little longer to get here. Ordered 3 kits and 1 of them didn't have the 2 side J channels. Had a customer service number to call manufacturer and got recording that they would be out for more than a week. Parts would also have to come from Canada. Found somewhat similar vinyl siding J channels at Home depot that I had to pay extra. It worked ok for us since merchandise covered most of it where you couldn't see the difference. Also as others stated, works great as long as accessories are single arm , not double arm because slot spacing is different. 4 3/4 " instead of typical 3 ". Much easier to put up by yourself than the other 90 pound sheets. I think the vinyl looks better too.

The very first thing you need to do is take that bag of screws that comes in the box and throw those in the trash. I have lots of experience with cheap hardware but up until now, I've never seen a screw that was such a horrible fit to the bit (even using the supplied R-2). The problem is actually second to the trouble on the other end. If there is a poorer self tapping tip in the world than those, I have yet to come across it. They struggle even to cut through the plastic, you can even strip the head before it cuts through the plastic. Don't believe it, try for yourself.

Great Product; Unclear Instructions

I was actually in between 3 & 4 stars, but the fact I had to re-install the panels a 3RD time eventually was the decider.
